David-John Nugent

David-John is the founder and owner of Ace Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic, your centre for tailored physiotherapy, rehabilitation, acupuncture and sports massage therapy in Lanarkshire. He initially studied biology at Glasgow College of Technology and then changed career to become a Charted Physiotherapist in 1992. He worked in the NHS before starting Ace Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic in 1996, with Motherwell being the first practice, followed by the East Kilbride practice in 2006. He completed post graduate study at Glasgow University in Sports and Exercise Science. He has worked with a variety of organisations including UK Athletics, West of Scotland Rugby Club, Scottish Hockey and Scottish Athletics. With a natural passion for health and the complexity of the human body, David-John knew that he wanted to work in health care. His enthusiasm for physical fitness and sport led him to become more curious about how the body worked, why injuries occur and what caused pain.
