Andrew joined RBG in 2007 and has over 20 years of structural engineering experience including structural analysis, design, forensic investigation, remedial works, and site-based design/coordination roles for civil infrastructure projects, hi-rise, long-spanning steel (public assembly) structures, mining projects, industrial and heritage buildings. Andrew currently leads the Construction Engineering infrastructure team in the Melbourne office where his main focus is assisting contractors to develop and implement innovative construction methodologies to allow the safe and efficient delivery of complex projects, the design of complex temporary works systems, and the assessment, temporary support, and remediation of existing structures.
Andrew has a proven history of delivering complex projects for a wide range of tier 1 contractors including managing teams engaging multiple sub-consultants. He has worked in RBG's Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide offices in addition to previous roles in London and Switzerland. Andrew was the lead for the design of temporary works and Construction Engineering for the Adelaide Oval and Adelaide Convention Centre. Both projects involved the installation of complex and long-spanning steelwork. He has provided design of complex temporary works and construction methodology for long-spanning steel bridge girders at the Citylink Tulla Widening Project and temporary works solutions for a wide range of works on many level crossing removals projects and temporary works and construction methodology advice for many hi-rise projects including temporary retention of deep basements. Andrew has also performed key roles in energy sector projects including the design of a blast-resistant laboratory building at the Bulwer Island Refinery in Brisbane and leading the structural and civil engineering design for several wind farm projects, including the largest wind farm in the southern hemisphere, Stockyard Hill.
Anko is a Principal with over 40 years' experience in structural engineering design. He has held a wide range of structural design roles on projects including major shopping centres and malls, large warehouses, industrial buildings, motor showrooms, mining structures, bridges and temporary works. Anko has been involved in the construction engineering aspects of bridges, marine jetties, the Dubai Eye, and the Airportlink and Riverwalk projects in Brisbane. Further design experience includes heavy-duty concrete slabs for mining and warehousing applications. Anko developed exposed feature steelwork - displayed for architectural purposes - for over thirty motor showrooms, and glazed skylight feature framing over atriums within shopping centre malls.
Anko also has four years' experience in managing the detailing, fabrication and erection of steel structures. His involvement in D&C structural steel projects enhance his skills in designing efficient structures.
Anko has significant experience in the aviation sector - he led the construction methodology development for steel roof structures supporting concrete shell elements at Kuwait international Airport (Terminal II). Over 30,000 composite pre-cast concrete shells housed in steel plate grillages are suspended on overhead temporary works girders, during construction. At the Hong Kong International Airport (Terminal II), Anko developed the demolition methodologies accommodating the airport height restriction limitations.

Ben's career spans across Australia, the UK, the Middle East and Asia and he has played a key role in the establishment and growth of both the RBG Dubai and Asia Offices. Ben has extensive experience in leading design and construction engineering teams on large-scale, complex and high-profile projects. He has a very well-rounded skill set with experience that covers many facets of structural design and construction engineering including full structural design from concept to completion, peer reviews and value engineering studies and construction engineering. Clients value Ben's contribution with unique solutions to save time and money on their projects or tender bids. His open-minded approach and ability to communicate effectively with all parties has been crucial to the success of our projects.
Cameron has over 15 years' experience in structural engineering and is a specialist in leading the delivery of temporary works on complex building and infrastructure projects. Since joining RBG in 2006, he has worked on a wide range of building and infrastructure projects along the East Coast of Australia which has developed experience in structural analysis, design, demolition engineering, forensic investigation and remedial works for civil infrastructure projects, mining projects, high rise, and heritage buildings.
His primary focus is assisting contractors in developing and implementing innovative construction methodologies to allow for safe and efficient delivery of complex projects, the design of complex temporary works systems and the assessment, temporary support and remediation of existing structures. A recent example of this was Cameron's lead role on the Greenland Centre where careful consideration and coordination of construction methodology and temporary works enabled the tackle to difficult task of adding 40 storeys onto an existing 27 storey building.
Cameron has grown RBG's temporary works capability in Metro projects and is delivering temporary works services on most of the Sydney Metro City Stations. Other infrastructure projects include WestConnex, Sydney Light Rail, Brisbane Airport Link, New Farm Riverwalk and Ipswich Motorway Upgrade (Dinmore to Goodna).

Chris joined the Robert Bird Group in 1988 as a graduate engineer and currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer. Chris moved to Sydney in 1997 and played an instrumental role in establishing and building our NSW business.
Chris's particular expertise is in the fields of adaptive reuse and heritage refurbishments, forensic engineering and wharf projects. During his time in Sydney, Chris has led and successfully delivered numerous iconic projects including Woolloomooloo Finger Wharf, Walsh Bay Pier 6/7, and the refurbishment of the old George Patterson House into the Establishment Hotel. Chris is currently project director for the Barangaroo residential development currently under construction.
One of the highlights of Chris's career thus far has been the Walsh Bay Pier 6/7 project. A unique construction methodology was developed by the RBG team for this project. This idea delivered significant value to the project and whilst the methodology was complicated, the project was delivered on time, on budget and won numerous industry awards for the high level of innovation brought to the project.

Damian is a Principal in RBG's Auckland office, leading a fast-growing team of young Structural Engineers and developing our presence in a dynamic new marketplace. His background is generally in permanent works Structural Engineering and he has many years of experience in a wide variety of projects, particularly industrial buildings but also civil infrastructure, stadia, deep excavations and high-rise buildings. He is well versed in Seismic Engineering and has vast experience in seismic upgrading of existing buildings.
Damian joined our London office in 2010, taking over leadership of the Construction Engineering division there in 2013 and growing the team extensively. In filling this role he championed RBG's USP of holistic design leadership, delivering numerous unique solutions that efficiently integrate construction methodology with temporary and permanent works design. Recognition of his strength in this area came with The Structural Engineer publishing his paper on the topic.
Since returning to New Zealand in late 2017, Damian has continued practising in the specialised field of Construction Engineering along with returning to more traditional permanent works design leadership. Of note, he has recently led RBG's involvement in the City Rail Link (underground railway),

Damien joined RBG in 2017 with a breadth of experience across transport, water, energy, and mining projects, having worked as a consultant and on the client-side of developments in Australia and the UK. As a Project Director, Damien has formed and led multidisciplinary teams on the planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of major projects.
Damien is a Chartered Fellow of Engineers Australia with an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering, a Post-Graduate Degree in Environmental Engineering, and a Master's Degree in Management (Engineering). Damien has authored technical papers on hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, and geotechnics, and was awarded the G.N. Alexander and W.H. Warren medals from the Institute of Engineers Australia.

Since joining RBG in 2006, Damon has gained broad design experience in public, commercial and residential projects in Australia, the UK, the Middle East and Asia.
Damon has led design teams on landmark public assembly structures such as the Library and Convention Centre buildings at Zayed University, Khalifa City and the 9,000 person capacity Theatre Building at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney.
Damon has particular experience in collaboratively working with project stakeholders to achieve desired functionality and aesthetics while also driving structurally efficient and buildable solutions, including the unique Jubilee Place project in Brisbane.
Damon has specialised in structural design for major projects including public, residential, commercial and mixed-use high rise developments such as leading design teams on PNB 118 in Kuala Lumpur, Crown Resort in Sydney and is the Project Director for the delivery of the four towers and sky deck of the Integrated Resort Development of Queenís Wharf in Brisbane.
Damon is based in the RBG Brisbane office as the Acting General Manager for the Northern Region.

Dan is the Operations Manager for our North America Business. Joining Robert Bird Group in 2013, he brings a diverse range of skills through his sound understanding of engineering principles, experience working on large scale construction projects, organization management skills and strategic thinking.
Since joining RBG, Dan has gained extensive experience working across all our key disciplines including Structural, Construction and Civil engineering. Starting in the Sydney office for three years and a following two years in London, Dan has played an important role on projects such as Battersea Power Station Development - Phase 2, Elizabeth House adjacent to Waterloo station, Pendle Hill Station Upgrade and Lachlan's Line Development.
Relocating to New York in 2018, Dan has led the creation and growth of the New York office. He was the Project Director for the 1518 5 th Avenue project, a 270,000 sq.ft. hotel development in downtown Seattle. Dan is looking forward to establishing RBG's profile in the North America market and delivering more fantastic projects in the region.
Dan takes a "project-first" approach to engineering and enjoys working with the client, contractor and design team to achieve the best outcome for the project. He thrives in a project environment that presents challenges and complexities on all levels, from design through to construction.

Daniel Booshand joined Robert Bird Group in 2006, where he began in the Structures division before transferring to the Construction Engineering discipline.
Daniel's structural engineering experience and capabilities includes structural analysis, design, demolition and installation methodologies, remedial works for infrastructure projects, mining projects and high rise buildings. Daniel has extensive experience in leading design and construction engineering teams to deliver technically challenging temporary works projects. He has worked on major infrastructure projects including Airport Link, New Farm Riverwalk and Dinmore to Goodna Ipswich Motorway Upgrade. Daniel has developed temporary works solutions as well as provided on-site construction engineering support for the management of assets within the mining sector on significant mining projects in the Bowen Basin in Central Queensland, Australia.
Daniel works closely with contractors to develop high quality, low risk designs that provides high standard innovative engineering solutions to create long-term value for the client. Clients value Daniel's enthusiasm and dedication to the overall team objectives and his ability to communicate effectively with all parties. His ability to reduce costs and time in the construction phase is crucial to the success of the project. Daniel is currently a Construction Engineering Manager.

Daniel graduated in 2004, completing a degree in Multimedia Software Development, and commenced work within the visualisation industry the same year. During Daniel's extensive visualisation career, he has worked on a range of projects both national and international spanning many different disciplines including architectural design, engineering, character animation, video production and photography, audio sampling, and editing. Since joining the RBG Virtual Design and Construction (ExViz) team in 2011 Daniel has brought his experience and technical knowledge to further enhance the processes involved in developing technically accurate 3D models for complex engineering projects at the highest level.

Darryl has over 25 years' experience in land development including design, construction supervision, contract administration, and project management for civil and infrastructure works in New Zealand, England, and Australia.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Surveying in 1995 from the University of Otago, Darryl commenced employment with a multidisciplinary land development company in Hamilton, New Zealand, primarily involved in industrial and residential subdivisions. His role required a broad range of tasks including the provision of client advice, feasibility studies, planning consents, civil engineering design of earthworks, roads, stormwater, sewer and water reticulation, developing relationships with local authorities, construction supervision, contract administration, and land surveying. In 1998 Darryl became a Registered Professional Surveyor with the Survey Board of New Zealand.
In London, Darryl provided engineering services for traffic management and highway improvement schemes on behalf of London Boroughs. Darryl has been with RBG for over 15 years as the main person responsible for delivering civil engineering services from our Melbourne office. Darryl manages and carries out civil engineering services associated with a variety of projects across a broad range of sectors.

David graduated in 1999 from the University of South Australia (BEng Civil Hons) and has been with Robert Bird Group since 2019. David has a background in structural and civil engineering, with over 20 years of experience in a broad range of public, residential and commercial assets. He has carried out both the design and project management of large transport, industrial, health and defence projects, and delivered asset management reports, diagnostic reviews and seismic assessments. David's current areas of interest include workplace design, heritage buildings, auditoria, marine structures and modular construction methods.

David joined the Robert Bird Group in 2001 and holds the position of Managing Director for Europe, USA and the Middle East regions. David has successfully led the business through a period of growth, skills and profile development and a diversification into new sectors of operation.
He has a depth of experience in building and rail infrastructure projects spanning across Europe, the Middle East and Australia. David's particular expertise is in Over Station Developments (OSDs) and he is passionate about the integration of property and transport infrastructure to support growth in large cities. He enjoys working with and leading collaborative teams on large projects where innovation in design and construction delivers simple, efficient solutions to complex problems.
David's latest project is 21 Moorfields for Land Securities, a 17 storey OSD Office Building that spans up to 55m clear across Moorgate Station in London. Innovation in design and construction will allow this building to be constructed without disruption any to station operations below. His other major projects include developing the innovative ‘Jump Start' core construction technique for the Shard in London. This methodology delivered a 4 month saving on the construction programme and won the Institution of Civil Engineers Buildings award in 2010.
David was the Project Director for RBG for the Cannon Place project, a 35,000m2 OSD building at Cannon Street Station. The building won the Institution of Civil Engineers Buildings award in 2012. David was co-author of the paper ‘Cannon Place: design and construction over a live railway station' which won the Institution of Civil Engineers Baker Medal in 2014
Dustin completed his tertiary education at Victoria University with a Bachelor of Engineering (Architectural Engineering) in 2005. Dustin joined Robert Bird Group in Melbourne in 2011 and has managed the design and delivery of various projects including Fulton Lane Apartments, EQ Tower, St. Collins Lane Retail Redevelopment and Polaris Neighbourhood Activity Centre.
Dustin moved to Hong Kong in 2014 to lead the Hong Kong office and has provided project and design leadership on a number of landmark projects in Asia which includes, the Hong Kong-Macau-Zhuhai Bridge Project: Passenger Clearance Building (PCB), Eiffel Tower Macau, Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 2 Expansion, Hong Kong International Airport Third Runway Concourse and Kai Tak Sport Park.
