Anthony Bilton

Anthony has worked in IT, Audit and Risk for over 30 years with 15 years in practice and experience of working with Government, private and public sectors. He specialises in assisting clients understand their IT risk profile and developing control improvements, which provide pragmatic and effective ways to achieve the objectives of good governance and security. He has been Head of IT Audit, as part of outsourced contracts, for 2 major UK supermarkets and 2 UK government departments and NGOs. He provided ISO27001 assistance to the Bulgarian Government as part of the ascension to the EU and has worked with 2 major UK High Street banks to assess IT suppliers due diligence against ISO27001. Currently working with medium sized accounting companies helping them deliver IT Services to Colleges and SMEs

Ashley Homburg

Director, Bsc, CISA, CGEIT, ISO27001 Lead Auditor Ashley is a highly experienced IT auditor with a history of successfully delivering outsourced IT internal audit, project assurance, risk management and consulting assignments to a range of complex clients in both the public and private sectors. He has spent 19 years working within practice, including 12 years at a "big 4" accountancy firm. Ashley also specialises in facilitating the implementation of ISO:27001 in a manner that embeds information security requirements into business processes sympathetically but effectively. Recent clients to achieve certification include an IT services company, dot-com and further education college.

Chris Hall

Chris is an ISO27001 internationally recognised expert and thought leader with over 30 years' experience of implementation and audit services covering information security (ISO27001), business continuity (ISO22301) and audit (e.g SOC 2). He is also an active member of the UK committee that develops the ISO27000 series of standards and has published numerous LinkedIn articles on the topic of how to do IS27001 properly! He also provides pro bono advice on ISO27001. Ask him a question. He was previously a senior manager within a top 4 accountancy firm and whilst there he was the Head of Certification services for certifications undertaken worldwide. His speciality is implementing ISO27001 very quickly and simply into organisations that have no previous experience of ISO27001. His assignments have covered all sectors and sizes of organisations both in the UK and worldwide.

Dean Mariott

Dean is a highly qualified, versatile and experienced IT Audit and information security professional with a proven track record of delivering results at both programme delivery and C-Suite levels. A CISSP, CCSP and CISM qualified individual with a Master's degree in Information Technology, who has developed a successful track record of results delivery in a wide number of commercial and client-facing environments. A substantial proportion of Dean's career has been spent working in practice Director and Senior Manager positions where Dean has developed proven transformation and stakeholder management skills. More recently, Dean has held varied roles ranging from acting Chief Information Security Officer for a major retail client and Head of Information Security for a large Managed Services organisation to hands-on Architect and Lead Engineer roles, as required by the client.

Denis Burke

Denis has worked in IT audit, internal audit, risk management and training for almost 25 years working in Director and Senior Manager roles in a "big 4" accountancy firm. He has embedded risk management and governance frameworks in a number of industry sectors, from financial services to a premier league football club. Denis has acted as head of internal audit for numerous outsourced internal audit contracts and was responsible for the provision of IT internal audit, IT external audit, data analytics and GDPR compliance provision in the North for a top 6 audit firm. He has delivered training and development courses, both internally and externally, from new IT audit graduates to C-suite compliance for anti-bribery and anti-money laundering. Denis has also worked for FTSE-250 companies as an IT internal audit manager and is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor and PRINCE2 project manager.

Duncan Jackson

Director, ACA, CISA Duncan is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 10 years' experience providing internal audit services, change management and business advisory roles. He has specific skills in computer audit, business process control and design, financial accounting and external auditing, and risk management.

Tim O'Brien

Tim has worked in IT and IT audit for almost thirty years, in a career that has spanned industry sectors and geographies. After working as a programmer and systems analyst in financial services, he spent six years with PwC in the UK, Turkey and then Sweden, before returning to the UK and joining Deloitte as a Senior Manager. Since leaving practice, he acted as an independent consultant delivering audit and security training, then lead Tata Steel's IT Audit function, including spending time in India, and, most recently, managing global cyber-security audits for HSBC, one of the world's largest international banks. He has a broad range of skills, but specialises in application and infrastructure audits, data protection (including GDPR), project assurance and training. He is a qualified PRINCE2 project manager and MSP programme manager.
