Alec joined Capstone in 2021 as an Analyst on the Special Situations team. He advises capital market and private equity clients on agriculture policy changes; telecommunications regulation and broadband funding; as well as federal actions for agencies such as the US Department of Agriculture, Federal Communications Commission, and the US Food and Drug Administration.
Before joining Capstone, Alec was part of the Capital Markets & Portfolio Management Rotational Program at Freddie Mac, where he gained experience on various capital markets and risk management desks.
Alec graduated with a B.S. in quantitative finance from James Madison University and is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
Alexandra joined Capstone in August 2023 as an Associate on the Energy Team. In 2022, she interned on the Energy and TMT Teams as part of Capstone's PATHWAYS program.
Prior to joining Capstone, Alexandra worked on the government affairs team of a publicly traded energy storage company. She also has experience in political polling and policy research.
Alexandra graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in government. She is originally from New York City and now resides in Washington DC.
Alyssa joined Capstone in 2022 and is an Analyst on the Energy team. She advises clients on policy issues surrounding power markets and utilities including changes to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and US Environmental Protection Agency regulations.
Before joining Capstone, Alyssa interned for FERC's Office of Energy Market Regulation and NextEra Energy's Market Analysis team. She also conducted research on battery storage technology at the University of Pennsylvania, her alma mater. Alyssa graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S.E. in chemical and biomolecular engineering. She is originally from Boise, ID, and now lives in Washington, DC.
Andrew joined Capstone in 2015 and is an Analyst on the Energy team. He advises clients on policy issues surrounding distributed generation, energy efficiency financing, clean energy tax credits, the North American Free Trade Agreement renegotiation, and numerous environmental regulations at the state and federal levels.
Prior to joining Capstone, Andrew interned for a venture capital firm in London, as well as for a nonprofit fighting poverty on the South Side of Chicago. He also completed a Fulbright Grant in Germany. Andrew is a CFA charterholder. He received degrees in economics, history, and German from Boston College and lives in Arlington, VA.
Andrew joined Capstone in 2023 as an Associate on the Capital Markets Sales team. Before this, he completed a rotational internship at Bramshill Investments, an alternative asset manager.
Andrew graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. in economics and a minor in history, his favorite subject. He is a native of the greater Baltimore area and currently resides in Washington, DC. Andrew holds a FINRA Series 7 license.

Angela joined Capstone in 2023 as an Analyst on the Healthcare team. Prior to joining Capstone, she worked at Deloitte, where she collaborated with state-level health agencies to redesign health records and quality management systems to support individuals receiving HCBS Medicaid waivers.
Angela graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.S. in Neuroscience and a B.A. in Economics. Originally from Austin, TX, she currently lives in Washington, DC.

Annabel is a Vice President in Capstone's Outreach team and is based in the London office. She oversees Capstone's European event efforts and external relations with regulators and experts across Europe and the UK.
Before joining Capstone, Annabel worked as a Research Assistant pertaining to a UK Foreign Affairs Committee inquiry into autocratic regimes. Annabel graduated from the University of Exeter, receiving her B.A. in politics and sociology.
Arjan joined Capstone in 2021 and is a Vice President of Sales. He works closely with private equity investors and corporate clients to provide market insights and help identify risks and tailwinds driven by policy and regulation.
Prior to joining Capstone, Arjan worked on RSM's M&A team, where he advised clients on complex integration and separation transactions. Most recently, he worked at FARE, the largest private funder of food allergy research, where he focused on digital transformation. Arjan received a B.S. in finance from Virginia Tech and resides in Arlington, VA.
Brennan joined Capstone in 2023 and is part of Capstone's Corporate Development Team.
Prior to joining Capstone, Brennan worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Intern on the Partnership Strategy and Tech Exploration teams. She also has experience working with nonprofits in the Washington, DC, area.
Brennan received a B.S. in business and enterprise management with a concentration in new business evelopment and a minor in entrepreneurship from Wake Forest University. Originally from Maryland, she has returned to the Washington, DC, area.
Brian joined Capstone in 2021 and is the Head of Capital Markets Sales. He works closely with a variety of institutional investment managers in analyzing federal, state, and international regulatory issues impacting their portfolios. Prior to joining Capstone, Brian worked on the institutional sales and trading desk at a policy research firm in Washington, DC. He held prior positions at Wedbush Securities and at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management.
Brian graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. with a B.S. in commerce with concentrations in finance and management. He currently lives in Washington, DC. He is a CFA charterholder.
Bridget joined Capstone in 2023 and is a Director of Corporate Development. She comes to Capstone most recently from the Atlantic Council, where she managed its Board of Directors and International Advisory Board. Bridget previously worked in the US House of Representatives in the Office of the Majority Leader for Steny H. Hoyer. She served as a political appointee in the Obama administration and was appointed to the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies for President Biden.
She is a graduate of Fordham University, where she studied political science and history. Originally from California, Bridget currently resides in Washington, DC.

Charlie is the Head of Capstone's Private Markets Group, where he plays a leading role advising corporate and private markets clients across Capstone's universe of coverage areas. Since joining the firm in 2019, Charlie has led or played a major role in dozens of strategy and due diligence engagements-including a focus on the energy transition; environmental, social, and governance (ESG); infrastructure; consumer finance; tax; and business services.
Prior to joining Capstone, Charlie worked in management consulting serving public sector clients and focusing on financial management and supply chain optimization. As a graduate student, he served in two roles at the US Department of the Treasury-one focusing on consumer finance research and the other on Middle East fiscal and trade policy. As an undergraduate, Charlie also worked in the press office at the US Department of State's Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs.
Charlie holds an M.A. in international affairs and economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. He graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S. in foreign service. Since 2018, Charlie has volunteered with Community Tax Aid providing no-cost bilingual tax preparation services to low-income taxpayers in Washington, DC. Charlie is a CFA charterholder. Originally from Minnesota, Charlie lives in Washington, DC.
Charlotte joined Capstone in 2021 as an Analyst on the Energy team. She advises clients on policy issues regarding EU climate and industrial policy, particularly looking at chemicals, low-carbon transport, and waste regulation.
Prior to joining Capstone, Charlotte worked as an associate at S&P Global in London, where she covered oil and shipping markets. She also worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)
Charlotte earned an M.A. from the University of Warwick and an M.S. in international political economy at the London School of Economics. She now lives in Paris.
Charlotte joined Capstone in 2022 as an Analyst on the Energy and Industrials team. Prior to joining Capstone, Charlotte worked at a policy research firm advising institutional investors as a senior research analyst, where she led coverage of the energy sector. Beyond her work in energy, Charlotte also researched and advised investors on issues in politics, healthcare, and financial services. She interned in the Senate in the office of Senator Brian Schatz, as well as at Human Rights Watch and the National Center for Disaster Preparedness in New York City. Before these experiences, Charlotte worked as a Litigation Paralegal with the white-collar defense and commercial litigation groups at Steptoe & Johnson LLP in New York City.
She received a B.A. from the University of Michigan with a major in Political Science and a Master's in Public Health from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health. Originally from Pennsylvania, Charlotte currently lives in Washington, DC.
Chris joined Capstone in 2024 as a Director on the Private Equity team. He works closely with private equity investors and their portfolio companies to navigate transaction-related risks and opportunities driven by policy and legislation.
Prior to joining Capstone, Chris was the Chief Operating Officer of Aspen RxHealth, a venture-backed healthcare technology company, where he oversaw pharmacy operations, client implementation and experience, sales support operations, and financial and business performance. Before Aspen RxHealth, Chris spent six years at Lyft in a variety of leadership roles on both the rideshare and micromobility teams, which included serving as the General Manager for Capital Bikeshare. Chris also worked in institutional equity sales at FBR Capital Markets and Goldman Sachs after serving five years as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy.
Chris earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the United States Naval Academy and a master's degree in finance from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. He lives with his wife and three children in Alexandria, VA.

Cordell joined Capstone in 2018 and is the Supervisory Analyst and Deputy Compliance officer; he also leads the Editorial and Content Strategy team. Before joining the Capstone team he was a senior editor and content strategist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's strategic communications team where he helped craft multimedia content on a myriad of policy issues and entrepreneurship, as well as working with partners throughout the organization to plan and execute an array of communications projects and campaigns.
He previously covered corporate finance, economics, foreign exchange and fixed income markets for Bloomberg News in New York during the heart of the financial crisis for nearly a decade. Prior to joining Capstone he also worked at Group SJR, developing content strategies for financial clients as well as the Indianapolis Star Newspaper.
Daniel is a Vice President on the Content Strategy team. He brings his experience in business and financial journalism to his work helping a team of analysts convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. Prior to joining Capstone, Daniel wrote about financial markets and government policy for The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg News. Before that, he worked at Forbes Magazine and The Bond Buyer.
Daniel earned a B.A. in English from the State University of New York at New Paltz, and an M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

Daniel Silverberg serves as Capstone's Managing Director of Corporate Practice and co-leads the Capstone National Security Team. He helps clients predict the trajectory of national security regulation and policy.
Silverberg has strong relationships in the Executive Branch and Capitol Hill based on 16 years of service in international security. Daniel has provided commentary on CNN, NPR, The Atlantic, Newsweek, and other media on key foreign policy matters.
Prior to joining Capstone, Silverberg served as the National Security Advisor to House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, working to coordinate foreign policy legislation and inform Congressional leadership on major geopolitical developments. He previously served as Majority counsel to the House Foreign Affairs Committee, where he provided legal advice regarding sanctions, arms procurement, and foreign assistance. He additionally served as an attorney for the Department of Defense, working with counterterrorism and partnership strategy offices. Silverberg has a JD from Stanford Law School and an AB in Comparative Study of Religion from Harvard College. Silverberg is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Danielle is a Managing Director and serves as Capstone's Global Head of Sales, predominantly focused on the business development strategy for the private equity and capital market businesses. She joined Capstone in 2019.
Danielle has nearly two decades of financial sales experience. Before joining Capstone, she worked at Washington Analysis for 10 years as a top sales producer, for which she earned an award in the 2018 All-American Sales team survey from Institutional Investor rankings. At Washington Analysis, Danielle was responsible for managing relationships with prominent hedge funds and asset managers in New York and Connecticut. Prior to this, she worked both in institutional sales and equity research at FBR Capital Markets.
Danielle got her start in the financial services industry working in the compliance department of a hedge fund-of-funds in her native New York. She currently lives in Arlington, VA, with her family.
