The Purity Headphone Amplifier has been a 2-year journey for DACS. Building on the renowned HeadLite lineage, DACS wanted to offer something exceptional for mastering and mix engineers... Our central aim is to force the headphone diaphragms to ALWAYS follow the signal as closely as possible. The amplifier's output must therefore be an amplified identical copy of the input, regardless of the load the headphones present. DACS' design of a strong virtually zero ohms output amplifier, as well as the BDZ PSU, ensures the output never deviates in any way from the input... Manufactured products are fixed, with a set of features or functions that it is hoped will fulfil most people's requirements. Nevertheless, studio owners often want more or fewer features in their individual workflows. Our CUSTOM units are made with DACS' building block circuits that have been honed over the years to provide very high performance.
