Dr Hilary Jones

Healthspan's relationship with Dr. Hilary Jones goes back 10 years, and he has never worked with any other vitamins and supplements company. As Dr. Hilary says, "Healthspan's products are designed by experts, and when it comes to quality they are second to none." When it comes to favourite supplements, Dr. Hilary makes sure vitamin D, plant sterols and omega 3 are part of his routine, as well as occasional caffeine tablets to get him fired up and alert for early-morning TV. Dr Hilary qualified as a medical doctor at the Royal Free Hospital in London in 1976. He spent 1979 as the only doctor on Tristan de Cunha in the South Atlantic Ocean, looking after its 250 inhabitants. A further isolated posting in 1981 took him to the Sullom Voe oil terminal in Shetland, to work as a GP and emergency doctor for oil industry employees, before moving into general practice in Basingstoke. Dr Hilary's television career began in 1986 as a presenter of educational medical TV programmes. In 1989 he became the doctor for TV-am, and has appeared regularly on breakfast TV ever since, reporting on topical medical issues and advising on medical problems. He has also been a regular guest on Steve Wright's Radio 2 show. To use clinical evidence and painstaking research to find clarity and direction in a world full of confusion and contradiction, and to pass this on to others for the benefit of their health and wellbeing.
