INNOVATION OWNERSHIP STRATEGIES - Key Persons

Ronald B. Visscher

Ron Visscher began managing intellectual property at Procter & Gamble over 20 years ago. Early on, he recognized that even though patents all described new, useful, and inventive subjects, not all patents were of equal value. He also discovered that sometimes other legal assets, like trademarks, copyrights, contracts, and secrets were more effective for creating protection. Ron's mission became to enable businesses to acquire the intellectual property necessary to defend their important assets. He helps these businesses recognize, develop, and manage intellectual property with the executive oversight and legal insight corresponding to their value.
