Andrew Fisher Tomlin

Andrew Fisher Tomlin is a Chartered Horticulturist and a Fellow of the UK's professional body for horticulture, the Chartered Institute of Horticulture. He is well known for creating gardens and landscapes around the world and has won many awards for his work in a number of countries including Australia, the USA and New Zealand as well as in the UK. He founded his design company over 30 years ago. Fisher Tomlin & Bowyer continues to be a leading provider of Garden Design services in the UK under the direction of Dan Bowyer, his business partner of almost 20 years. Andrew remains a part of the team as a horticulture and planting design consultant on major projects.

Andrew Wilson

Andrew Wilson is widely acknowledged as one of the UK's leading garden design lecturers. He has been at the forefront of garden design teaching in the UK and overseas, for over 30 years and now teaches exclusively at our garden design school. Andrew Wilson had started new courses at colleges and Andrew Fisher Tomlin also taught at these colleges when they started a conversation about how they could improve training through a new practice-based approach that delivered a masterclass every day. For that they needed the support of the industry and were joined by leading professionals such as designer and horticulturist Peter Thurman and designer and landscaper Mark Gregory (a founder and Director until 2018).

Nina Baxter

As well as designing gardens across south-east London, Kent, and Surrey, Nina has been lucky enough to work with internationally-renowned designers on award-winning gardens at RHS flower shows including Chelsea, Tatton Park and Hampton Court. She has formed a lasting working relationship with Jo Thompson as head of Jo's planting team, that continues to this day. As well as being a member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture, Nina is an RHS Show Judge, judging and selecting show gardens at the RHS flagship flower shows Nina Baxter is an accomplished plants-woman and has been widely recognised for her garden and planting designs. She has been involved with the College for many years and became a Director in July 2023. From January 2024 Nina will lead the Planting Design Diploma course. Nina has a long career in garden design. After nurturing a life-long love of horticulture, Nina gained professional qualifications in Horticulture, Plantsmanship and Garden Design from the Royal Horticultural Society and the English Gardening School and in 2004 launched Nina Baxter Garden Design together with her husband Matthew.
