He attended Loma Linda University and graduated with honors from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1977. He is a longtime resident of Palm Springs who is involved in both professional associations and community organizations. Prior to opening his own practice, Michael was a partner for more than 30 years in a Palm Springs law firm (Middlebrook, Kaiser, Hengesbach & Dawson and other iterations through the years).
