QLD ORTHOTICS & PODIATRY - Key Persons


Andrew Barlow

Andrew attends to members of the QLD and Indian Cricket Teams, Elite runners and High Risk Feet including Diabetic Amputations and Ulcers. He is also heavily involved in community work, along with the charity Walking Tall which provides shoes for the homeless (collected from the clinics) and provides free podiatric care at a homeless shelter.

Ben Sweeting

As the former owner of and clinical consultant for one of Australia's largest foot orthoses laboratories, Ben brings to QOP a wealth of knowledge on foot orthotic therapy. He also has qualifications in dry needling and prolotherapy. Ben has presented at several conferences and seminars to fellow podiatrists nationally and has been involved with the QUT podiatry student program.

Cameron Joyes

Cameron has worked alongside multiple physiotherapists and orthopedic surgeons in the past. Cameron regularly attends professional development events to stay up to-date with clinical knowledge. In his spare time, Cameron enjoys swimming, going to the gym and running, participating in local Parkruns on Saturday mornings. Cameron's favourite weekend activity however is trying out new restaurants, going to food and wine festivals and camping with his family.

Emily White

When she's not working or undergoing professional development, she enjoys any kind of physical activity and catching up with family and friends. Her passions include rock climbing and hiking and she has a particular interest in treating issues associated with these activities to help people get the most out of their lives. Throughout university, Emily worked with footwear and brings this knowledge to her treatments. She also has further qualifications in dry needling.

Gaby Lynch

Whilst studying at QUT she was awarded the highest proficiency in lower limb biomechanical assessments in 2020. During her university life she worked casually in Podiatry clinics fitting and selling footwear.

Sam Groat

Sam has recently relocated to Brisbane and is enjoying settling into a new city. Outside of work, he enjoys spending his time reading or cooking new things as well as following teams in a number of different sports.

Thomas Feddema

Since then Thomas has taken a role with our medical engineering sister company Paromed where he works across a number of large and small practices focusing on integrating Podiatric technology to achieve excellent clinical outcomes. Thomas now focuses on his lead role providing support to the Paromed community through the training of our complex design software, case presentations, patient discussions and quality control.

Tom Brough

Over the past decade he has travelled both domestically and internationally to attend conferences and learn from colleagues. He has a keen interest in continual improvement and has an ongoing role teaching other Podiatrists across Australia and New Zealand on how they can improve their clinical skills to achieve more successful treatment outcomes.
