THE CUPCAKE LOUNGE - Key Persons

Claudia started baking cupcakes more than 20 years ago, and is a graduate of the Baking and Pastry Arts Program at Algonquin College in Ottawa. As part of the 2012 Latin American Heritage Day in Ottawa, she was selected as Latin American Entrepreneur of the Year for her invaluable entrepreneurial contributions to benefit others in the Latin and Canadian communities of National Capital Region and awarded for her efforts by the Mayor of Ottawa, Jim Watson, on September 8, 2012. The Regroupement des gens d'affaires (RGA) brings together economic partners on both sides of the Ottawa River to ensure prosperity for all, and is one of the most important business groups operating in the National Capital Region. On April 15, 2015, at the Prix d'excellence Awards Gala, the RGA named The Cupcake Lounge a winner in the "Best Small- or Medium-Sized Enterprise of the Year" category.
