Bill Jarrott

Bill has 48 years' experience in the accounting and financial planning sectors. Bill is a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants and holds a Specialist Financial Planning Designation with that association. Bill has operated his own accounting and financial planning business since 1974, was a partner of Jarrott McCracken Financial Consultants. Bill is a Director of williamgrant Financial Consultants and sits on the Board. He works in the business providing oversight and business development. In his spare time Bill is an avid golfer.

Christine Gfeller

Christine joined the williamgrant team in December 2019 and has over 9 years' experience in Client Services and has an extensive background in the Financial Services, Banking and Business sectors with over 20 years' experience in various Business Administration roles. Christine really enjoys working with our clients, understanding their needs and assisting them to achieve success in their financial goals. Christine has 4 daughters and enjoys cooking, reading and gardening.

David Jarrott - Managing Director

David has 24 years' experience in the accounting and financial planning sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, is a Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Accountant. David is a member of the Financial Planning Association and Institute of Chartered Accountants. He has previously worked with Price Waterhouse Coopers as a senior tax consultant, was the Managing Partner of Jarrott McCracken Financial Consultants and is now the Managing Director and Senior Financial Adviser of williamgrant Financial Consultants. In his spare time David enjoys surfing, golf and long-distance running.

Grant Vernon

Grant is a Chartered Accountant and also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. He has built a strong reputation over more than 25 years in Chief Executive Officer and senior management roles in the financial services industry and beyond. Specialising in advising private family offices, Grant was COO of Andrew and Nicola Forrest's Minderoo Group prior to his current role as COO of the Mazur Family's Magnet Group, which includes the Thermomix business in Australia and New Zealand. As a keen contributor to the community, Grant is a former Chair of Perth College and is currently on the Wesley College Council and Chairman of the State Umpiring Advisory Group for the WA Football Commission. A member of the WA Football Hall of Fame, Grant umpired more than 200 games of AFL football. He has competed in Ironman triathlons and the Boston marathon (whilst completing a course in Leadership Best Practice at Harvard Business School). Grant is a Director of williamgrant Financial Consultants and sits on the Board, although he does not work in the business on a day to day basis.

Melanie Davies

Melanie holds a Business Degree majoring in Economics and Finance from Curtin University and has a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. Previously, Melanie worked as a Financial Adviser at Perpetual, providing investment advice and active portfolio management to the trusts and estates under management by Perpetual. Melanie then worked as an Equities Adviser at Paterson's Stockbroking, specialising in "blue chip" investments. Melanie actively managed her client's portfolios using margin lending facilities and also lectured to investors at the Australian Stock Exchange with seminars on negative gearing.
