"My first introduction to yoga was in the late 1980's taking occasional classes at the university gym. It wasn't until 10 years later, when I began practising yoga more regularly, that I started to understand the deeper benefits of a consistent yoga practice. Not only did I notice physical improvements, but also how yoga impacted positively on my mental and emotional well-being, and on my breathing. My daily yoga practice sustains and supports me in my everyday life, and the opportunities and challenges that it brings. In my teaching I hope to share my passion for the practice of yoga with my students. My passions extend outside the yoga room into the great outdoors where I love to tramp, cycle and ski. You'll also find me pouring over cookbooks as I am a keen cook".
