He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

George graduated from the University of Glasgow, gaining a BSc in Civil Engineering and has more than 25 years civils' experience.
George has extensive experience working on MOD projects and has been responsible for the design co-ordination and project management of much of the Type 45 Destroyer enabling woks for BAE Systems as well as a roll on/off ferry terminal and working on various port and ferry related projects through out the UK and overseas.
With further experience in the design co-ordination and project management of building structures including complex multi-disciplinary facilities, George also acted as CDM Coordinator for these projects. He is the Health and Safety Manager for the Partnership.

Douglas has over 30 years of experience in the design and project management of civil engineering, structural engineering and multi-disciplinary projects throughout the UK.
He has worked extensively in the Nuclear Industry, delivering a variety of specialised services to a broad client base. Douglas's experience includes the design of site infrastructure, waste storage facilities, roadworks, drainage, accommodation buildings, land remediation and innovative structures.He also has extensive experience in the fields of design substantiation, decommissioning studies, specialist demolition techniques, feasibility studies, structural assessments, seismic assessments and the co-ordination of multi-disciplinary projects.
Douglas is also experienced in bridgeworks, including design, assessment, maintenance, strengthening and the site supervision, of motorway and trunk road structures.

Michael graduated from Heriot-Watt University in 2003 and has over 19 years' experience in the management, design and construction of maritime civil engineering projects worldwide, with extensive experience within the Scottish market.
Michael joined Arch Henderson in 2019 as a Senior Engineer, and is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Shane had an early introduction to the company when he was at school, in S3, as he did his work experience in the Lerwick Office. He returned in 2012, while he was studying Structural Engineering at Strathclyde University, to work during the summer holidays. When he graduated in 2013 he was offered a job as a Graduate Engineer. With the support of Arch Henderson, Shane continued his education and completed a Masters in Civil Engineering and Project Management. After which he took advantage of a year's secondment to the Aberdeen Office, followed by nearly three years in the newly opened Southampton Office. He became a Chartered Engineer (MICE) in 2019 and returned to Lerwick in 2020, where he is currently busy working on a variety of marine civil engineering projects in both Lerwick and offering on-going support to Southampton.
In his spare time, he plays football, golf and rugby.
