Christopher Chandler - Managing Director

Christopher Chandler is a Director and Senior Qualified Solicitor with over 40 years PQE. Christopher qualified as a Solicitor in the 1970s and has expertise all areas of residential and commercial conveyancing matters. Christopher Chandler is the Managing Director of the firm, qualifying as a solicitor in the 1970's. He has developed a broad based and highly personalised property practice with a commercial and agricultural bias. He has particular expertise in acting for the farming and business communities and being well versed in the impact of agricultural matters in Will drafting and the administration of estates Having gained previous experience in general practice in the Milton Keynes area, Chris has developed a broad based and highly personalised property law practice with a commercial and agricultural bias. He now focuses on wide areas of property law and practice, wills and probate, agricultural as well as business matters.

David Wigg

David has a BL degree in Roman Dutch Law from the University of Rhodesia was a founder partner in the firm of Chandler Ray. He recently retired from the firm and now acts as a consultant.

Diana Davis

Diana Davis is a Director at Chandler Ray Solicitors and Senior Qualified Solicitor with over 30 years PQE. She qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and joined Chandler Ray in 1998. She has substantial experience of the full range of property and land transactions, both in price range and complexity. Diana Davis is a graduate of Durham University. She qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and since then has worked for a number of high street practices in North-east of England before moving to Buckingham and joining Chandler Ray in 1998. She is a Director of the firm and has broad experience across all areas of residential and commercial property. She has substantial experience of the full range of property and land transactions, both in price range and complexity. In addition she undertakes private client and elderly client work, including acting for attorneys and deputies and making applications in the Court of Protection. She is both a professional Deputy and an Attorney for clients. She also has experience in dealing with complex inheritance tax calculations. Diana also advises employers and employees in employment law, including applications to the Employment Tribunal. Diana graduated from Durham University and qualified as a solicitor in 1984. She joined Chandler Ray in 1998 and became a Director in 2013. Her work includes residential and commercial property matters, Wills, Probate and Administration of Estates, Powers of Attorney and Deputyship applications and well as Employment law.

Racheal Rivers

Racheal Rivers is a paralegal working exclusively in the private client department. She has been with the firm for over 20 years and supports the qualified staff in correspondence, the preparation of wills and various aspects of estates administration and accounts. Racheal joined Chandler Ray in 1996. Since then she has become experienced in probate and estate administration, handling many aspects of practice concerning probate and wills, and associated property documentation.

Rachel Bates

Rachel Bates is an experienced paralegal working in the property department at Chandler Ray Solicitors, and she is supervised by Diana Davis. She has worked for many years assisting in property transactions.

Rosie Bamford

Rosie Bamford is a senior qualified solicitor with almost 10 years PQE. Rosie qualified in 2011 and has expertise all areas of residential and commercial property conveyancing matters. Rosie Bamford, conveyancing solicitor, initially studied history and subsequently Law at the University of Law in London. She has worked in both public and private sectors, including HMRC and local government as well as law firms. Rosie qualified as a solicitor in 2011 and has over 10 years' experience in conveyancing matters working at Chandler Ray between 2012 and 2015 and again since 2019. Rosie enjoys the great outdoors and has two chickens named Boris and Dominic.
