The Governing Body, the Leadership Team and I have a very clear vision of what we want and how to get the best deal for our children and the community we serve. For this reason, we made the decision in 2012 to become an academy. This means we have been given the freedom to make choices for our school which bring the most benefits to our children and our families. We are no longer a Local Authority school and therefore, there are some differences in the way we do things at our school to the way they are done in others... When we were last inspected by Ofsted, we were praised very highly in all areas of the school. We were judged to be ‘good' overall with the behaviour of our children being judged as ‘outstanding'.
