Shaws Wood is a Residential Care Home for physically frail elderly and those with dementia, located in a quiet, pleasant residential area of Strood, in Medway, Kent... Shaws Wood looks to provide person centered care. Our philosophy is to fully understand each person individually, looking at key areas to best plan, inform, and continue to help those entrusted to our care to live a fulfilling life... Shaws Wood has purpose-built living space for 39 people in well-proportioned single rooms over two floors, with a choice of dining facilities and social space. We also have a Day Care Centre for people living with dementia who might be looking for care and company in the day on a Tuesday, Thursday and Friday each week from 10am to 4pm.
