Next, we created a think tank for social and disability policy. Our think tank (Center for Systems Change, at OCALI) consulted with Kentucky and Texas. We designed community development projects to better serve young children with autism, including a community assessment and planning toolkit. We also facilitated a statewide assessment and planning initiative across all of Kentucky. At the Center for Systems Change, we wrote policy briefs in conjunction with the Health Policy Institute of Ohio on healthcare and disabilities. We also produced weekly policy and issue analysis covering things like the UN Charter of the Rights of People with Disabilities, the World Health Organization's report of health and disabilities, the Para-Olympic Games, gun violence as a contributing factor to disabilities, and bullying and autism.
