The first BOVA Contemporary Furniture store was opened, by the company's founder Ole Bjerregaard, in Copenhagen Denmark in the late 1970's. Based on the great success Mr. Bjerregaard decided to expand outside Denmark and the first BOVA store in USA, opened in Denver Colorado in 1981. Since then, Bova Contemporary Furniture has been regarded as one of the pinnacle of modern contemporary furniture in USA.
