Amber Briski is a certified physician assistant who joined our practice in March of 2010. Originally from Wisconsin, she did her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry in 2004. She went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Medicine to become a Physician's Assistant from Western Michigan University in 2007.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Illinois Division of Professional Regulation. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants. Her previous experience includes general surgery specializing in diseases of the breast.
Dr. Abbie Roth is GOLD!
I have never met a doctor who is caring and brilliant and with a great sense of humor as doctor Abbie Roth. She is very professional and has an excellent bedside manner. When I had a life threatening complication after my C-section, she and her Prentice team of doctors and nurses were such an efficient team under pressure while making sure they explain every process and steps during the situation. Dr. Abbie Roth and her team literally saved my life! I am very fortunate to have met Dr. Roth, I will never forget her and will continue to see her for my future OB/Gyne health. Dr. Aleena Lakhanpal joined Northwestern Women's Health Associates in August 2020. She works as a health system clinician at Northwestern University, and in general OB/GYN at Northwestern Memorial/Prentice Women's Hospital.
Dr. Lakhanpal has been educated throughout the United States. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Arizona in Tucson. As part of her residency, she served as the Chief Resident and received awards for excellence in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Gynecologic Oncology.
As a general OB/Gyn, Dr. Lakhanpal aims to provide comprehensive and thorough care to women of all stages of life. She partners with patients, helping them become active participants in their own treatment, and she strives for continuity of care with her patients. Dr. Lakhanpal believes that the foundation of excellent care is in the doctor-patient relationship. She looks to form long-lasting relationships with each patient, helping them through each unique stage of life.
Dr. Lakhanpal lives in Chicago with her husband, daughter, and dog. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching documentaries, and trying new restaurants.
Dr. Regina Belmonte has been providing all the services I have needed for over 12 years. She saw me through both of my pregnancies and her expertise is vast. Even after I moved far away from the city, I still embrace and look forward to her care and services, and I refuse to switch doctors. She is worth the trip! Going through both pregnancies I had to meet with all of the Dr's. and all were wonderful. The nurses are fantastic. I have gotten 98% of what I have ever needed just talking to a nurse. Dr. Belmonte received her bachelor's degree with honors and distinction in exercise science with a minor in chemistry from the University of Iowa. She received honors from Phi Beta Kappa and the Order of Omega. Dr. Belmonte obtained her M.D. degree from the University of Iowa and completed her residency at Loyola University, where she was chief resident. While at Loyola, she received the award for outstanding resident in Gynecologic Endoscopy from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Belmonte has been in private practice for three years prior to joining our practice, and is board certified. She is affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital/Prentice Women's Hospital, and is a clinical instructor of obstetrics and gynecology. She joined the practice in 2002. Dr. Belmonte is married.
I have been going to Dr. Friedell for over a year now and he has been nothing less than amazing. When I first came to him to discuss pregnancy, he was incredibly informative and understanding. He was also willing to take the time to answer all of my questions and help in any way he could. He just delivered my son in March and to say he went the extra mile during delivery would be an understatement. I had some complications and with any other doctor I would have had a c-section. Dr. Friedell worked with me and was extremely patient and because of his care and expertise I had a successful vaginal delivery. I cannot recommend him highly enough! Jennifer H

Dr. Morton joined Northwestern Women's Health Associates in 2016. She is currently affiliated with Northwestern University as a health system clinician, with privileges in general OB/GYN at Northwestern Memorial Hospital/Prentice Women's Hospital. She completed her M.D. with honors at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she also completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training. During residency, she served as Chief Administrative Resident at the University of Illinois. She was awarded for laparoscopic/minimally invasive surgery, medical student teaching, and professionalism. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. She is married with a labrador retriever.
Dr. Feldstein is everything you want in a doctor. He takes the time to get to know you as a patient, which is a rarity nowadays. He is also incredibly smart - you have 100% confidence that he's treating you with the best care. He truly treats you as if he were treating his own family. I've had both "normal" and "hard" pregnancies, and I'm forever grateful for the care from Dr. Feldstein during all the good and bad times. When I think of the pregnancy/birth of my beautiful babies, I fondly think of the care I received from Dr. Feldstein. So much so, that I've referred both my sister, my best friend, and many co-workers to him. 5+ stars! Kate LaMantia
Northwestern Women's Health Associates has had the privilege of Dr. Feldstein's expertise and experience in obstetrics and gynecology since 1994. He is Board-certified, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists.
Dr. Kistner joined Northwestern Women's Health Associates in 2022. She is currently affiliated with Northwestern University as a Health System Clinician and has privileges in general OB/GYN at Northwestern Memorial/Prentice Women's Hospital.
She received her undergraduate degree with honors in Psychology and Biology from the University of Virginia. She then completed both her medical degree as well as her residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Loyola University Medical Center. During residency, she served as wellness chief within her department, as well as received the Magis Star for outstanding patient care and Excellence in Teaching Award for medical student education as both a junior and senior resident.
As an OB/GYN Generalist, she seeks to provide comprehensive and evidence-based care within a safe and patient-centered environment. She believes in ongoing education, health advocacy and long-lasting doctor-patient relationships as cornerstones of excellent medical care.
She lives in Logan Square with her partner Richard and Sheepadoodle Zippy, with whom she enjoys staying active with runs, bike rides or any outdoor activities.
Dr. Wise received her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in religion and a certificate in business management from the University of Rochester in New York. She received her M.D. Degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed her residency at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. While at The George Washington University, she received recognition for participation in the Residents as Teachers program and was inducted in the Kane King Dodek Obstetrical Honor Society. Dr. Wise is affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital/Prentice Women's Hospital, and is a clinical instructor of obstetrics and gynecology. She joined the practice in 2007. Office Location:
Dr. Dunn joined Northwestern Women's Health Associates in 2018. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Loyola University Medical Center, where she was recognized for excellence in teaching in both 2017 and 2018. During her time there she was also awarded the Magis Star for outstanding patient service and care. She completed her MD at Case Western Reserve University and received her BS with Honors at Michigan State University with dual majors in Human Biology and Psychology. As a general obstetrician and gynecologist, her goal is to provide excellent patient-centered care for women of all ages and to provide the resources they need to lead a healthy life.
