The Gallery of Educational Innovation primarily exhibits premier, digital representations of knowledge of how the MIT education is being enhanced and empowered by technology. We also hope to continue to expand the Gallery over time in a way that it can illustrate how these pioneer efforts in technology-enabled education are related to some of the ideas and practices of educational transformation and innovation beyond the MIT community... OEIT aims to facilitate awareness, deep understanding and transference of educational innovations at MIT and elsewhere. We intend our educational outreach efforts to go beyond being "a showcase" to being a vehicle for sharing and dissemination of innovative teaching and learning practices, leading to contextually relevant adoption and eventually to successful educational transformation.
