Ali serves as MPV's Broker-in-Charge and is an integral part of the MPV Land Advisory team. Ali's focus includes market research and analysis, regulatory compliance, and property reporting. She also specializes in applying powerful GIS tools to complete new business pursuits and site selection assignments.
Austin joined MPV Properties in 2018 after graduating from The University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. At MPV, Austin is part of the Retail team, focusing on build-to-suit development, site selection, Landlord and Tenant Representation work, and new development projects. Austin enjoys working clients such as Sunbelt Rentals, AAA Carolinas, AAA Club Alliance, Lowes Foods, and many other retailers. He is currently pursuing his MBA with a concentration in Real Estate Finance and Development at UNC-Charlotte and is a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Austin is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and holds his broker license in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
A sports enthusiast, Austin enjoys fishing and golf. Additionally, while at UNCW, Austin was a four-year starter for the Seahawks baseball team. He ended his baseball career with a trip to the NCAA Regionals and was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2018 MLB draft. When he is not playing sports, he enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Bailey joined MPV Properties in September 2015 as an Associate and was promoted to Development Partner in 2023. Prior to becoming a member of MPV's team, Bailey graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he received a BA in Economics. At UNC, Bailey was also a 4-year starter for the Men's Golf team and was named an Academic All-American in 2014. At MPV, Bailey has extensive experience representing buyers and sellers in land transactions, and he has also sourced several new acquisition and development projects for MPV. Bailey prides himself on being an honest and straight-forward communicator with clients.
Bailey W. Patrick has spent more than 30 years in all facets of commercial real estate. His areas of specialty encompass all types of brokerage including land, office, industrial, and investment transactions in addition to suburban office and flex space development. Bailey has been awarded the #1 Top Producing Land Broker in the Charlotte Region by the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of REALTORS (CRCBR) on many occasions and he offers extensive knowledge and experience in providing commercial real estate services.
Bailey shares overall responsibility for the success of MPV Properties. His primary focus is in new business development while overseeing brokerage operations. In addition, he has an active role in financial planning, personnel management, site acquisition, development and zoning, leasing and site sales and market research.
Bailey is extremely active in the Charlotte Community serving as Director on the Corporate Board of Cato Corporation, a Board Member of The John Crosland School, and he is a former Chairman of the Board and current Trustee of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte. Bailey serves as a Trustee for Queens University, serves on the Board of Visitors for UNC-Chapel Hill and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, his high school alma mater. He is a past member of the Corporate Board of Directors for Harris Teeter Supermarkets, Inc. and Park Sterling Bank, while also previously serving on the Boards of Presbyterian Hospital Foundation, Charlotte Country Day School, Spirit Square Center for the Arts, Trust For Public Land, the Children's Scholarship Fund of Charlotte, the Carolina Thread Trail, and the Central Piedmont Community College Foundation. Bailey is a past President of the Charlotte Regional Commercial Board of Directors.
Bailey began his real estate career with The Bissell Companies in 1984 as a leasing agent and project manager in their Greensboro office until 1988 when he moved to Charlotte working as a leasing agent. In 1997 he became a partner and President of Bissell Patrick, LLC, the commercial real estate brokerage entity of the Bissell Family of Companies. At that time, Bissell Patrick affiliated with the Grubb & Ellis network and was doing business as Grubb & Ellis | Bissell Patrick until that affiliation ended in 2004. Bailey ultimately purchased a majority interest in Bissell Patrick and in 2009 became the sole owner of Bissell Patrick.
Bailey received a B.A. Degree in Economics in 1983 from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and he holds the SIOR designation from the Society of Office and Industrial REALTORS.
Billy has over 26 years of experience as an Industrial Specialist in commercial real estate. Billy's associations with commercial real estate in Jacksonville, Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina have provided him with extensive knowledge of the changing industrial real estate markets. A member of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors, Billy has been recognized as a Multi-Million Dollar Producer every year since 1996, as a ten million dollar producer in 2001 and 2006 and as a 10 Year Award Winner in 2006. His client list includes Radiator Specialty Company, Lance, Inc., Cohen Asset Management, United Stationers Supply Company, N.S. Cartons, LLC, Prologis, Tyco Electronics, Rexam, Inc., Lagasse, Inc., I.H. Working as an industrial real estate broker since 1991, "Billy" Thomas began working as an Industrial Specialist with the Bissell Companies, whose brokerage department became Bissell Patrick, LLC, in 1997. During his tenure, Billy has been instrumental in assisting the company in developing an industrial presence in the Charlotte region. Billy currently covers the North and South Carolina markets with a strong focus in the Charlotte Region providing seller, buyer, tenant and landlord representation.
Billy received a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 1989.
Brett joined MPV Properties in April of 2014 after spending 24 years in the Real Estate Department of Lowe's Companies, Inc. While at Lowe's, Brett was involved in every facet of commercial development. Starting in the Site Assessment Group, he was responsible for overseeing the design of new stores and the acquisition of associated permits. Then, as a Real Estate Manager, he was responsible for the identification of proposed store locations and the negotiation and fulfillment of contracts and leases. Ending his career at Lowe's as the Southern Divisional Director of Real Estate, Brett managed a portfolio of Lowe's properties and the strategic placement of new retail locations. In his entire career with Lowe's, Brett was involved in the development of over 500 locations in over 30 states.
Brett received his BSBA from Appalachian State University in 1985 with a concentration in Real Estate, Finance and Insurance.

Cheryl joined MPV in 2020 with 24 years of experience in commercial real estate with a focus in retail. At MPV she provides administration services for the daily operation of MPV's associations portfolio, as well as project support for the Associations team.
Prior to joining MPV, Cheryl provided lease administration support for the legal department of Rack Room Shoes, a partner of Deichmann SE. 2007 brought Cheryl to Charlotte, NC when CBRE relocated her from Dallas, TX as Senior Manager in the Platform Program Management role, supporting the Bank of America account. While in Texas, she was part of the Facilities Management team that relocated the headquarter offices for Perot Systems Corporation in Plano, TX, and supported the domestic and international portfolio as Leasing Manager.
Outside of work, Cheryl cares for her elderly mother and enjoys outdoor activities which keep her busy.
Chris brings over 23 years of accounting experience, both public and private, to his current role as Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, he oversees the accounting operations for the company including the Corporate Office, the Managed Properties, Development Projects and the Owners Associations. He works with the development teams on cash flow forecasting and modeling and construction/A&D loan procurement. He assists the Property Management department in their back of the house accounting needs and budgeting processes.
Chris began his career as an Audit Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Charlotte in 2000. He participated in the financial statement audits of both public and private companies. In 2003, he was promoted to Senior Audit Associate, where he led several engagement teams on financial statement audits of both public and private companies. He participated in the planning, implementation and review of all aspects of the audit engagement. After his time in public accounting, Chris became the Finance Manager for Merrifield Partners. As the finance manager, he was responsible for accounting for all the commercial projects in the portfolio.
Chris graduated from Wake Forest University in 2000 with a Bachelors and Masters in Accountancy.

Clark joined MPV Properties as a brokerage associate in November 2017. Prior to MPV, Clark was a Capital Markets Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Economics. Clark began his career at MPV on the retail team, where he specialized in tenant and landlord representation. After developing a strong foundation of leasing, site selection/acquisition, and disposition of retail assets, he transitioned to the land team at MPV where he now focuses on land brokerage. Clark has a rapidly growing portfolio of landowner, builder, developer, and investor clients that he represents in the Charlotte MSA.
Clark is a licensed Real Estate Broker in North and South Carolina. He is a member of Charlotte Regional Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) and is a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Clark is a Salisbury, NC native and lives in the SouthPark area with his wife. He is an active volunteer with Heart Math Tutoring and in his free time enjoys playing golf, spending time with his dog, and cheering on the Tar Heels and Panthers.

Dawn joined MPV Properties in 2021 with over 20 years of experience in Real Estate Sales and leasing. Prior to joining MPV Properties, Dawn was in the finance departments for LendingTree and Bank of America. Dawn holds Broker Licenses in North and South Carolina as well as BIC status in North Carolina.
Dawn attended Pennsylvania State University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has a BS in Business Administration with a double minor in Management and Marketing.
Dawn resides in Matthews NC with her husband and twins, Thomas and Chloe. She enjoys photography and tennis. She participates in multiple tennis tournaments in North and South Carolina and is a 2 time USTA North Carolina Adult Tennis Champion.
Eric joined MPV in April of 2017 with over 25 years of commercial real estate and development experience. Eric began his career within the Real Estate Department of Lowe's Companies in 1992. During his 20 year tenure with the company, Eric was involved in the acquisition and/or development of more than 200 Lowe's stores in over 20 states. After leaving Lowe's 2013, Eric worked as an independent consultant / development manager with Maly Commercial Realty, a private commercial development firm based in Columbia, MO. During his time with Maly, Eric was responsible for the oversight and management of all facets of the real estate process including site selection, acquisition, leasing, design and construction management for assigned pad-site and development projects. At MPV, Eric will be responsible for AAA Carolinas and AAA Club Alliance development projects.
Eric earned a BSBA in Business Management from Appalachian State University in 1985. He is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Eric resides in Wilkesboro, NC with his wife and three daughters.
Ferris joined MPV Properties in August of 2021 as a brokerage assistant to the development and investment sales brokerage teams. She is a native North Carolinian and has resided in Charlotte for most of her life. In May of 2020 she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she received a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in marketing. Ferris became interested in the field of real estate during her internship for a real estate firm, and saw the natural connection between her educational background in marketing and real estate.
Ferris earned her real estate license in 2018, and upon graduating college she jumped started her career in the field working as a marketing/administrative assistant for a residential and commercial real estate firm in Mooresville, NC. At MPV, Ferris handles her teams' real estate related tasks and is directly involved with all of their marketing efforts.
Ferris has always loved music and has played the piano since the age of seven. In her spare time she enjoys teaching piano lessons, getting away to the lake (or anywhere that's tropical), and trying to spend as much time with friends and family as she can!
Frank joined MPV Properties in December 2019 with over 25 years of facility and property management experience, bringing his vast knowledge of vendor management, cost containment and customer/client relations to the Property Management team.
Frank was most recently the Senior Retail Facility Manager for the Southeast region at Charles Schwab and, prior to that role, served as a Property Manager for The Bissell Companies for over 13 years. His involvement with commercial real estate sales and acquisitions, and related process management activities, provides a unique perspective and level of experience to his current role.
A U.S. Army veteran and native Charlottean, Frank holds the Certified Facility Manager (CFM) designation awarded by the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). Outside of work, Frank spends his time coaching youth soccer and attending local sporting events.
George Macon's responsibilities with MPV Properties include land and vertical development for numerous office, medical, retail, and mixed-use projects in the Charlotte area. George sources and structures new development ventures; coordinates and manages financial feasibility, rezoning, project design and construction, marketing, and sales for his projects.
Since joining Merrifield Partners in 2001, George has developed 34 office, medical office, and retail shop buildings, totaling 1,000,000 square feet. George's major projects include Blakeney (30-acre medical/professional office park), Bryant Park (40-acre mixed use urban infill development), SteeleCroft Office, Hunters Crossing, Jetton Medical, Denver Medical Office Park, Reafield Village, and Marvin Crossing. Some of George's more noteworthy transactions include the Charlotte School of Law (100,000 square feet), Elevation Church (Multiple BTS projects totaling over 200,000 square feet), Novant Medical Group (Multiple BTS projects totaling over 100,000 square feet).
George previously worked with the Duke Realty Corporation (DRE), a $5 billion market capitalization office industrial REIT headquartered in Indianapolis. His responsibilities included financial analysis, leasing, and asset management.
George received a B.A. in Geology - Environmental Studies from Washington and Lee University in 1993 and a M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from Vanderbilt University in 1999. He is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina and South Carolina and has been a multiyear recipient of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors "Multi Million Dollar Club" award. George is a former member of the CRCBR Board of Directors.

Ian is responsible for overseeing one of the largest commercial association management portfolios in the region with over 3,000 acres and almost 650 owners throughout North and South Carolina. Ian's team prides itself on exceptional attention to detail and an unrivaled level of personal service.
A graduate of Leadership Charlotte, Ian holds real estate licenses in North Carolina and South Carolina. He received his L.L.B. in Law from the University of Reading, England in 1982 and was a real estate attorney in England for 10 years before joining MPV Properties in 1996.

Brad is a member of the Charlotte Regional Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) and holds real estate licenses in North and South Carolina and Georgia. Brad is a candidate for Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. He is also a member of the Charlotte Chamber, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Brad sits on the Board of West Boulevard Ministry and formerly sat on The Harvest Center Board where he served as vice chair of the organization. Brad was also formerly chair of the American Community Bank SouthEnd Advisory Board. Brad is a graduate of the Charlotte Leadership School and a founding member and Treasurer of The Bridge Foundation and The Bridge Scholarship. Brad and his wife Alli have four daughters and they reside in Charlotte.

Jackson joined MPV Properties in October 2017 as a brokerage associate and specializes in investment property sales. He began his commercial real estate career as a multifamily investment sales analyst with Marcus and Millichap before moving into a brokerage role.
Prior to beginning his commercial real estate career, Jackson held various general sales positions in North Carolina and Texas. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, earning a bachelor's degree in Management and Society with a minor in Urban Studies.
Originally from Greensboro, NC, in his free time Jackson enjoys watching UNC football and basketball games, spending time with friends and family, and is a soccer enthusiast.
Jim Merrifield has directed the commercial development of 4,000 acres of land and 3.5 million square feet of buildings during his career. In addition to Crown Point, NorthCross, and Whitehall, Jim's projects include Charlotte International Trade Center, Mooresville Gateway, Poplar Point Business Park, University East Business Park, and Waterford Center.
With over 30 years of real estate experience, Jim has overall responsibility for MPV Properties. He is involved in financial planning, securing debt and equity, personnel management, project design and construction, site acquisition, development and zoning, leasing and site sales.
After he served with Spaulding & Slye from 1980 to 1985 in Boston, Oklahoma City and Charlotte, he joined Crosland in 1985 and purchased a majority interest in its Commercial Division in 1997. In 2004 he purchased the remaining interests in Crosland Commercial and changed the organization's name to Merrifield Partners.
Jim received a B.A. in mathematics and economics from Colgate University in 1975 and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1980.

Jenni joined MPV in 2021 with 18 years of experience in commercial real estate, with a focus in retail and medical. At MPV, she provides lease administration and account reconciliation services for the Property Operations team.
Prior to joining MPV, Jenni provided accounts receivable, lease accounting and cash application support for Simon Property Group in Indianapolis, IN. Upon relocating to the Charlotte area, Jenni worked as Sr. Lease Administrator for Lincoln Harris, supporting the Carolina's Healthcare account. Most recently she was Sr. Lease Analyst for Flagship Healthcare Properties, where she provided assistance with lease administration, reporting, and acquisitions.
Jenni attended Indiana University at IUPUI and resides in Monroe, NC with her husband and two dogs. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and crafting.

Joey joined MPV Properties in August 2008 after graduating from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he earned bachelor's degrees in business administration and communication studies. Joey started his career in Wilmington, NC working for Zimmer Development Company.
Joey specializes in landlord representation throughout the Carolinas and tenant representation along the East Coast. He has been involved in leasing more than two million square feet in power centers, grocery anchored retail centers, mixed use projects, neighborhood strip centers and free-standing buildings. Joey has also assisted in site selection for grocery anchored centers, land acquisitions, and investment property sales with an extensive tenant list of clients such as Harris Teeter, Dunkin' Donuts, Pizza Hut, KFC, Second Harvest Food Bank, Happy & Hale, Super Chix and Tasty Restaurant Group.
Joey is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and holds broker licenses in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Outside of MPV, he is an active board volunteer serving on both the Stratford Richardson YMCA Board of Managers and the University of North Carolina Wilmington Alumni Association. A sports enthusiast, Joey plays soccer and tennis competitively in the Charlotte area, and enjoys golf, hunting and spending time with his family.
Josh joined MPV Properties in March 2018. Josh specializes in investment property sales, with a focus on retail and medical office assets within the Carolina's. Josh graduated from Western Carolina University in 2010 with a degree in Business Administration and Law and is a licensed in North and South Carolina. Josh is a member of CRCBR, and enjoys cycling, fly-fishing and spending time with family in his free time.
