Prior to his appointment as CEO of the finest news and information business in the world, Almar served as Publisher of Barron's Group and Executive Vice President of Dow Jones. He also was Editor-in-Chief of The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires in Asia where he lived for more than three years. Editorially, Almar oversaw two major redesigns of The Wall Street Journal's website, launched numerous successful international and U.S. blogs, revamped The Chinese Wall Street Journal and kicked off The Wall Street Journal in Japan. David B. Pitofsky is Executive Vice President, General Counsel of News Corp. Mr. Pitofsky oversees global legal operations including litigation, mergers and acquisitions, ethics and corporate governance matters. He joined News Corp. in 2013 as Deputy General Counsel and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, and served as Chief Compliance Officer from 2015 to 2023. Mr. Pitofsky previously held the position of partner at Goodwin Procter LLP. In his eight years at Goodwin Procter, Mr. Pitofsky's litigation practice focused on white collar defense, government and internal investigations, and securities litigation and enforcement. His high-profile matters included representing a former Big 4 accounting partner who was acquitted at trial in what was then billed as the largest tax fraud case in U.S. history. He also represented Kenneth R. Feinberg in his role as Claims Administrator for the Gulf Coast Claims Facility, which was established in the aftermath of the Deepwater Horizon incident. From 1996 to 2005, Mr. Pitofsky was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of New York, rising to the level of Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division. While in that office, he spearheaded the prosecution of a national computer software company and several of its senior executives for securities fraud and obstruction of justice, which resulted in convictions and a precedent-setting deferred prosecution agreement. Mr. Pitofsky was invited to make a presentation regarding the case to the President's Corporate Fraud Task Force. Mr. Pitofsky is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the New York Lawyers for the Public Interest and Chair of its Nominating and Governance Committee, a member of the Executive Committee of the Federal Bar Council, and an officer of the Federal Bar Foundation. In June 2015, he was recognized on the "Attorneys Who Matter" list by Ethisphere Institute, the global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practice. Mr. Murdoch served as CEO of 21st Century Fox from its inception as News Corporation in 1979 until 2015 and as its Chairman from 1991 to 2015. Rupert Murdoch's passion for the news media business was sparked by the legacy of his father, Sir Keith Murdoch, chairman of The Herald and Weekly Times and head of News Limited, an Australian-based public corporation. He inherited his father's interests in the Adelaide newspaper The News in 1952, becoming publisher and a member of the board of News Limited the following year. In 1954, Mr. Murdoch took control of News Limited and embarked on a path that would redefine the media landscape. His entrepreneurial instinct led Mr. Murdoch to expand his interests into the growing medium of television. His company founded the Southern Television Corporation and pushed its newly licensed Channel 9 to be first to air in 1959 in South Australia.

Ruth Allen is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for News Corp. Ms. Allen leads strategy and implementation of the Company's People, ESG and Philanthropy initiatives. Ms. Allen joined News Corp in 2018 where she served as Chief People Officer for News Corp Australia. In this leadership position she oversaw key projects including the company's business transformation and the reshaping of the employee experience. Prior to News Corp, Ms. Allen held the dual role of General Manager Capability & Culture and General Manager People & Culture at Origin Energy, where she worked to redefine the company's purpose and values while also leading a rebuild of the Integrated Gas business. Before Origin Energy, Ruth worked as a transformation consultant at Telstra for 5 years and held various senior people and organizational development roles throughout the construction sector. Ruth has a Masters degree in Organizational Psychology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Susan Panuccio became News Corp's Chief Financial Officer in March 2017. She previously served as Chief Financial Officer of News Corp Australia, beginning in September 2013, where she sat on the boards of News Limited, REA, Foxtel, FOX SPORTS Australia, Sky News and AAP. Before joining News Corp Australia, Susan worked 11 years with the News UK business in various roles including Chief Financial Officer, Director of Strategic Program Management and Director of Corporate Planning. Prior to joining News UK, Susan worked in the finance teams of companies such as AngloGold Ashanti, Ansett Australia and KPMG.

Todd Thorpe

Todd Thorpe is the Executive Vice President and Global Head of Government Affairs for News Corp. Mr. Thorpe is responsible for leading the Company's government relations and advocacy efforts in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia. Mr. Thorpe joined News Corp in 2014 as Senior Vice President for Global Government Affairs where he focused on U.S. federal and international government affairs. In this role he worked closely with the News Corp legal team and the company's business units in the United Kingdom and in Europe on intellectual property and competition cases. Prior to News Corp, Mr. Thorpe served as Managing Principal at the Bockorny Group, a bipartisan federal advocacy and consulting firm. At this time he engaged on behalf of clients for a wide variety of issues including technology and the internet, telecommunications, privacy and competition policy. Mr. Thorpe also served on Capitol Hill. During his decade of experience he worked for three Members of the House of Representatives and worked on congressional campaigns culminating as Chief of Staff to a senior Member of the House Judiciary Committee. Thorpe has a B.A. from Utah State University, a graduate degree from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium and a J.D. from George Mason University Antonin Scalia School of Law. He lives on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. with his wife and three children.
