St. Mark is a 2X National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. Reading and math scores are in the top 15% nationally... St. Mark Catholic School was established in 1982 in order to fulfill a need in the Catholic community of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, in Plano, Texas. The school opened, welcoming 113 children in grades Kindergarten through third. The school's use of the educational building consisted of five classrooms, a small library, and the two-room main office. The church activity building provided space for physical education classes and a student lunchroom. The staff in 1982 was comprised of the principal, secretary, and six teachers...
