The GRIN Lens Solar Tracker is a dual axis solar tracker for spherical GRIN lenses and is a pioneering project in high efficiency solar tracking. The tracker enables high efficiency solar power by utilizing high efficiency solar cells, high concentration lenses, and a minimum motion tracking mechanism to reduce power consumption in tracking. This project was undertaken to produce a dual axis tracking test bed for the GRIN lenses.
