Ben Gleitman

Ben is an Associate at MMPS in the Corporate and Real Estate Group. He represents the firm's clients in a variety of real estate matters, including the representation of private lenders and financial institutions in various types of financings for the acquisition and development of commercial and residential properties. Prior to joining MMPS, Ben was an Associate at Reiss Sheppe LLP where he represented clients in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial properties nationwide. He has experience drafting and negotiating various high-level real estate and corporate agreements. Ben received his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he served as a Articles Editor for the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal.

Erick is a partner at MMPS who manages the Foreclosure Group. Erick has represented large financial institutions, national mortgage servicers, hedge funds, private equity companies and individuals in both residential and commercial foreclosure actions. His extensive experience in uncontested foreclosure, litigated foreclosure and alternatives to foreclosure creates a distinct advantage for the lender. Over the years, Erick has participated in and overseen the foreclosure process on over 10,000 defaulted loans. Erick has been a lecturer at national servicing conferences and before the courts of the State of New York. As a part of his foreclosure practice, Erick has represented numerous buyers and sellers of defaulted loan pools in all aspects of the transaction, including due diligence and negotiation of the sale. In addition to the foreclosure process, Erick represents both private and institutional lenders in commercial lending transactions. Erick's focus is construction lending, but he has represented the lenders in all facets of both traditional and non-traditional lending. His experience in the foreclosure process provides a unique insight into commercial lending and allows him to provide a transaction that will stand up to the tough scrutiny of the courts. Prior to joining the firm, Erick worked as a partner managing the foreclosure practice group at one of New York's most well-known firms. In this role, he managed over sixty professionals in one of New York's largest foreclosure practice groups.

Ron is a Partner at MMPS who practices in the Commercial Real Estate Group. Ron represents investors, owners, developers, operators and lenders in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions throughout the country. Ron has particular experience representing clients in connection with acquisitions and dispositions, formation of joint ventures, and debt and equity financings. His expertise includes counseling lenders and borrowers in complex financings, including mortgage, construction and mezzanine loans, corporate credit facilities, and other structured financings, as well as co-lending and intercreditor arrangements, syndications, participations, loan sales, workouts, deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure, and preferred equity financings. Ron has worked on transactions spanning a broad range of property types, including multi-family, office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, distribution centers, student housing, hotels and resorts, senior housing, self-storage, parking facilities and vacant land. Ron's clients include private equity companies, REITs, developers, financial institutions, commercial banks, lending funds, insurance companies, high net worth individuals, family offices and other investment groups. Prior to joining the firm, Ron was a Partner in the Real Estate Department at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP where he represented clients in connection with structuring, negotiating and documenting all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.

Lauren Mintz

Jamie is a partner at MMPS who manages the Creditors' Rights Group and focuses on corporate matters. He represents a plethora of clients including multi-national banking entities, global credit card companies, small and large businesses, and alternative lenders. He has successfully recovered millions of dollars for his clients. He is licensed to argue before the Eastern and Southern District Courts of New York, the Second, Third and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States District Court of New Jersey, the United States Supreme Court and the United States Court of International Trade. In 2013, 2014 and 2015, Jamie was selected by the publication "SuperLawyers" as a New York Metro Rising Star in the field of Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights. Jamie represents business entities and individuals in a variety of complex transactional and litigation matters as well as counseling clients in commercial real estate loan transactions, distressed debt investments, corporate acquisitions and alternative finance. Jamie is a member of the National Creditors Bar Association, is co-founder of Alternative Finance Bar Association, a member of New York Housing Association and involved with the Long Island Real Estate Group. He is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association, a international community of professionals dedicated to corporate renewal and turnaround management. Jamie has served on several charitable boards in New York, including the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation Association-New York Chapter and Variety, The Children Charity. Leah Bloomberg - Chief Legal Officer

Leah is a partner at MMPS who practices in the Real Estate Group. She regularly represents clients in commercial and residential real estate transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of single and multi-family homes, cooperatives and condominiums, townhouses, as well as retail and commercial spaces. Leah is highly proficient in all aspects of residential real estate ownership, including public and private financing, mortgage refinancing, the formation and organization of corporate entities, and the preparation of life and estate planning documents. Leah has extensive experience in the drafting and filing of Offering Plans for cooperative and condominium conversion and new construction projects. She also handles the submission of amendments on behalf of Sponsors and holders of Unsold Shares, as well as Sponsor sales and transfers. Apart from her transactional practice, Leah serves as general counsel for numerous cooperative corporations and condominium associations in New York City and the surrounding areas. She regularly advises boards on various matters including prospective purchase applications, commercial leases, vendor contracts, financing transactions, construction and improvement projects, as well as advising on various unit owner and shareholder disputes.
