Anthony Pinter

Biography: Anthony was born in 1992 in Dayton, Ohio. For some of his life he lived in Dayton, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Seattle, Washington, and Altoona, Pennsylvania. He‘s incredibly loyal and compassionate, which he consider as his greatest strength and weakness. "I will go completely out of my way to make someone else happy, even if I barely know them." - Anthony said. It helps him to make really good friends. He likes a variety of different music, but favorite genre is indie pop/rock. His favorite bands are Johnny Foreigner (UK), The Front Bottoms (US), and Los Campesinos!(UK). He have seen seen JoFo and The Front Bottoms live. "I‘m gonna try to see LC! when they come back to the US for their next album tour" - he‘s really big fan of Los Campesinos. When Anthony was asked about the countries he would like to visit and where you‘ve been, he said: "I would love to go back to France. I love Impressionism, and we didn‘t get to go to the Musee d‘Orsay, which has a lot of French Impressionists. I would also like to go to the United Kingdom for music festival season. A lot of my favorite bands are British, and they always post about different festivals that they will be playing in the summer." and "I have traveled to France and Monaco, visiting Nice, Avignon and Paris. I went on a school trip, so we spent a few days in Nice, a day in Avignon, and a few days in Paris. I saw the typical tourist attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, Versaille and the Aquaducts. The Eiffel Tower was very interesting because we visited right after Michael Jackson had died, so there was a huge demonstration underneath the tower. We also had a layover in Frankfurt, so I got to see what a German airport was like.". His favorite food is pizza. He like plain pepperoni pizza from pretty much any restaurant. Also he like pasta with meat and red sauce, and chicken pot pie. Anthony is a very active person, mostly he‘s enjoy finding new music, reading and cooking, but his favorite activity is anything athletic. He love to go outside, sweat and forget about everything else except for the sport he‘s doing at that specific moment. "I define success as getting through another day." - Anthony said. The Ideal job in his opinion would be to teach and conduct research at a university level. His father is a professor, and he love the lifestyle and the work he does. Anthony set goals for himself. He like to have a challenge, whether it is in athletics or academics. Generally he choose goals that he feel he can accomplish with hard work. When he was asked about working by himself or on the team, he said: "It depends on the task.". He prefers working by himself on things such as coding and writing, because he feel like he‘s able to sit down and do what he need to do without much outside help. He like teamwork on large projects with many parts, because it allows him to focus on his own part and trust his teammates to get their work done as well.

Mantas Mačiokas

Biography: Mantas Maciokas was born on October 11, 1991 in Kaunas, Lithuania. He has lived in Kaunas all his life and is currently studying Finance at Kaunas University of Technology. He currently lives near the city center, so his daily commute is less than 15 minutes by bus and there are many things to do. Once Mantas graduates, he would want to throw a huge celebration for all 4 years of his studies. Mantas enjoys cooking, and his favorite foods are homemade pizza and sirloin. He has worked in a restaurant for two summers and enjoys restaurant cooking. Some other hobbies that he enjoys are biking, running, and playing organized sports such as basketball and soccer. He has also travelled to several different countries in Europe. He went to Poland as part of the Lithuanian rowing team for the European academic rowing championships, and has been to Northern Ireland and the UK on holiday. Mantas also enjoys many varieties of music, ranging from rap to classical. Currently he is listening to Macklemore, a US rapper, and Paolo Nutini, a Scottish indie artist. He says that after a long day he likes to listen to music to relax. Mantas also enjoys a variety of different movies, counting "The Intouchables," "Limitless" with Bradley Cooper, and "Machine Gun Preacher" with Gerard Butler among his favorites. Mantas' favorite memory is when he was a little kid he broke his elbow and hand pretending to be Hercules. He jumped off of a large object, and he didn't land safely. He says he was eating feta cheese that day, and ever since that day he doesn't like feta cheese at all. Mantas feels that his best attributes are that he is a logical thinker, very calm, and easily influenced by others. He also says he has all the abilities needed in order to complete tasks correctly and on time. If he has one wish, he would wish for better health for his family, and more happiness for the people of Lithuania.
