ROBERGE EARLY LEARNING CENTER

Caring for young children got its start at Roberge in 1973 as a licensed family day care home operated by Noella Roberge. In 1984, the facility and program were purchased by John Donovan and his wife, Louise, Noella's daughter. The facility became Roberge Early Learning Center. Since then, we have been licensed by the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood with a capacity of 45 children... We provide daily before and after school care for children in the Cromwell elementary and intermediate schools. We can also provide full day care for holiday times, vacations and even the whole summer... We enroll no more than twenty children under the age of 3 years. Our staff to child ratio for children in the under three age group is a maximum of 1:4. Within this group, the Toddler Group range from the age of 17 months to three. Our toddlers engage in a blend of process oriented structured activities and self-directed play…and yes, there's toilet training.
