STOCKBRIDGE STABLES IEA

IEA or Interscholastic Equestrian Association gives students in middle school and high school from different public and private schools the opportunity to participate in equine activities. The Stockbridge Stables IEA Team is a Hunt Seat IEA Team. This means that depending on the students division they will compete in one jumping class and one flat class per show. The participants in the show will ride a horse provided by the barn or school. The student will accumulate points throughout the show season. If the student gets enough points they may be able to compete at Regionals, Zones, and Nationals. Through the IEA students can participate in many different activities and even apply for certain scholarships. It is also an amazing way to meet kids and teens in your area that share a similar interest!... The Stockbridge Stables IEA Team is a competitive high school and middle school riding team. The team rides out of the UMass Hadley Farm located in Hadley, Mass.
