ALS ASSOCIATION

The ALS Association is the only national not-for-profit health organization dedicated solely to the fight against ALS and battling the disease on every front. The ALS Association covers all the bases - research, community services, public education, and advocacy - in providing help and hope to those facing the disease... The ALS Association - DC/MD/VA Chapter was founded in 1991 to serve the needs of those living with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and their families throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia... Care Services: Navigating this disease can be difficult and seem overwhelming at times. Our Care Services Coordinators assist in lessening that burden by providing supports and services through a myriad of programs to persons living with ALS, and their families, who register with our Chapter.
