It is the mission of the University of Saint Thomas cheerleaders to provide support and encouragement to the athletic teams. We strive to be good leaders and members of the University of Saint Thomas. While doing so, we strive to be respectful, committed, patient, responsible, encouraging, and professional individuals. In all circumstances we remember to give thanks to God and appreciate the uniqueness he gives to everyone... The University of St. Thomas Cheer Team is a university-sponsored team housed within the Campus Life department and Spirit Program. The Cheer Team is open to all UST students female and male. The purpose of the team is to promote school spirit through its participation at athletic events, campus activities and off-campus promotions. The team performs stunts, dances, tumbling and sideline cheering at football games and men's and women's basketball games.
