Amanda graduated from the University of East London in 2011 with a first class honours BSc in Podiatric Medicine and has completed two thirds of a MSc in podiatry. Amanda's first degree in business some years ago, initially led her to working in professional services marketing, where she learned the importance of communication and quality service provision. Amanda took the decision to change her career after experiencing excellent podiatric care in treating an episode of severe foot pain. This sparked an interest in the field of podiatry - learning how podiatry can alleviate pain and improve foot function. Amanda worked in NHS podiatry for six years and now works exclusively in private practice. She has worked at Sally Pembery Associates for a little over a year now and is a highly motivated podiatrist & invaluable member of the team. While working for the NHS Amanda gained experience in the following specialism's of podiatry: diabetes, biomechanics, paediatrics, rheumatology, low level LASER therapy, and nail surgery. At Sally Pembery Associates, Amanda specialises in treatment for verrucas, ingrown toe nails, fungal nails, wounds, diabetic and vascular assessments and general chiropody & podiatry.
