Jewish Care was created in 1990, through the merger of two charities, to ensure we could provide the best care for the community's needs in the most cost-effective way... To this end, we have strong associations with synagogues, welfare groups and youth and educational bodies. Through our relationships with them, we hope to help them understand what Jewish Care can offer and how we provide our services... Every year synagogues and community groups support the work of Jewish Care in a variety of ways. We could not exist without this support. We produce a community appeal to give people an insight into our services and an opportunity to donate and support our work.
