EyeBot is not one robot, as the name suggests, but about a dozen nanobots. The nanobots would be in a liquid solution, and introduced to the lens of the eye with an eyedropper. The nanobots would locate any amino acid lumps (cataracts) in the lens of the eye using ultrasound. EyeBot would then remove the cataracts. Some of the nanobots would carry amino acid compounds, and would replace the amino acid in the lens where needed. When they had smoothed out all the "lumps", they would alert the doctor. They would then be flushed out of the eye and put back into solution. The amino-acid-carrying nanobots would be put into a solution with amino acid compounds so they could replenish their stores. That would be the eyeBot process.
