Dariusz Drezno is a seasoned Documentation, Training and QA Manager with more than 20 years of experience in leading technical writing, training and test teams in various global companies, including Motorola, Apriso, Sabre, and Comarch. Mr. Drezno's background covers telecommunication, embedded systems, manufacturing execution and global distribution systems. Mr. Drezno helps customers to establish, lead and improve their testing, technical communication, trainings and quality management systems using both formal and agile approaches.
Frank Ephraim King (also known as FE or Effie) has been a major player in the information development field since 1996. He served as team leader and project manager for documentation projects in many different fields including semiconductors, communications, information technology, military and civil aviation, medical technologies, virtualization, and cloud computing. Ephraim has taught extensively in the hi-tech community, and has several years' experience training new technical writers.
Gopal Dambal is a from-the-scratch Technical Writer who evolved as Content Architect at Infosys Ltd, Bangalore (India). Kristine Hurst's extensive technical writing career has encompassed the fields of software development, pharmaceuticals, aeronautics, medical device manufacturing, and health care. Ms. Hurst's international technical writing clients include PeopleSoft, Oracle USA, The J. Paul Getty Museum, Amgen, Johnson & Johnson, Apriso, NextGen Aeronautics and SynerMed, Inc. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Education and a Master's degree in Business Administration.
Laura Novich is an experienced documentarian, with more than 18 years in technical communication and 10 years in education and training.
She has worked as a technical writer at Red Hat and 3Com and is currently the Documentation Manager for ScyllaDB, a NoSQL database company. When Laura is not working, she is an instructor at Our Best Words, teaching students about open source, software documentation, and API docs.
In addition, she is an events coordinator / conference speaker at Write the Docs and a frequent speaker at MEGACOMM Israel. Her passion for collaboration has won her the Red Hat EXCeed award as well as the 3Com 3Award for her outstanding work in project management. Pawel Kowaluk's work in the technical communication field has been focused mainly on DITA standard implementation and DITA maturity, including the choice of strategies and tools. His main area of interest is related to new learning products and ways of building them within organizations. He is a co-founder of soap!
