Dale Slater - CEO, Founder

Dale, as President, CEO and Founder of Johnson Service Group, Inc., has been responsible for operations and business development of all JSG entities since their inception. In 1974, Dale founded Venture Design, Inc. a company that designed, manufactured and installed electrical control systems for the conveying industry. In 1979, Dale entered the staffing solution industry by purchasing K.H. Johnson Ltd. In 1984, K.H. Johnson was rebranded as Johnson Service Group, Inc. Over the years, Johnson Service Group, Inc has grown to be one of the largest independently owned provider of Staffing Solutions throughout the United States and Canada.

Greg Thullner - COO

Greg joined Johnson Service Group (JSG) in 2014 as SVP-General Manager of JSG Professional Services ULC responsible for the business expansion of JSG into the Canadian marketplace. In January 2020, he was promoted to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer for JSG's North American Operations. Prior to joining JSG, Greg held various executive roles with CDI Corp including President of Global Professional Services and Executive Vice President-General Manager of Engineering Solutions responsible for Canadian Business Solutions and International Aerospace Operations. Greg has over 30 years of experience in the Engineering/IT Services sector with a strong track record of improving productivity & profitability, reducing costs and increasing overall client and employee satisfaction. He has leadership expertise and a history of success in financial management, business operations, sales & marketing and new business development for North America and International markets. Greg is highly proficient in providing and implementing both customized Staffing and Outsourcing Solutions to companies in the Aerospace, Automotive, Infrastructure, Mass Transit, Oil & Gas, Power and Telecommunication industries. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from McGill University.

Jim Filarski - CFO

Jim Filarski serves Johnson Service Group Inc. as the Company's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. A 1976 graduate of St. Mary's University in Winona, MN, he has over 45 years of experience as an accounting and finance professional. He spent 12 years with KPMG's Chicago office in the Commercial and Banking Audit Practice as well as the firm's Middle Market/Private Business Practice. Upon leaving KPMG, Jim became the Chief Financial Officer of the SEC Companies of the USA INC, a national temporary help firm specializing in engineering, technical skills, and clerical skills. He was instrumental in leading the internal efforts to accomplish the 1992 sale to a larger firm. Subsequently he has been a consultant and advisor to a myriad of staffing companies and other private industry sectors providing strategic shareholder advisory as well as ongoing business and accounting consulting. Since joining JSG in 2008, Jim has provided corporate and accounting oversight in addition to developing and executing on the Company's strategic initiatives. Jim is an Illinois Registered CPA, and member and the ILCPA.

Ken W. Slater - EVP

Ken W. Slater is a seasoned executive with over 25 years' experience in technical staffing services. He has deep expertise in the staffing sales and recruiting process management along with industry-specific back office management and leadership. Ken joined Johnson Service Group in May 1993 after graduating from Bradley University with a degree in Business Management. Starting at JSG as a Technical Recruiter and being quickly promoted to Business Development Manager, Ken was subsequently promoted to Midwest Regional Manager, Senior Vice President and then Executive Vice President. During his tenure at JSG, he actively targeted and sold Fortune 500 accounts along with managing sales and recruiting operations throughout multiple regions within the U.S. Ken is also responsible for negotiation and managing multiple vendor contracts relating to JSG's production process. He has overseen multiple CRM conversions and was integral in developing Key Performance Indicators that track both JSG team usage and monitor productivity. Ken believes that key differentiators within any organization are the culture that is created to support the service delivery offered. He knows that it's important to quickly and efficiently align your strengths with the requirements of your client. Building a culture of employee engagement, accountability and positive team values has helped JSG to be named to multiple Industry award lists and achieve superior year-over-year revenue growth under his leadership.
