We are continuing our leadership program at Selmer Elementary School based on the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Steven Covey. Our students are learning about the Seven Habits of Happy Kids and those habits will be reinforced everyday. The students will learn that all children have gifts and they will use their gifts to the best of their abilities while respecting other children's strengths and weaknesses in order to work effectively in a group or individually.... Meet the Teacher will be on July 28. The first day of school is August 4. Our Fall Festival will be in October. We will be earning feathers in November like all good Indian braves and princesses. Santa comes to visit in December. February brings our Valentine's party. We have a visit from the leprechaun in March. Our Easter Egg Hunt will be in April. Spring Fling is in May.
