Charlie joined the Rare & Fine Wine Company on October 2012 bringing his own depth of knowledge of wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Italy and the New World. He is also experienced in organising Corporate or private wine tastings and will be responsible for updates on Twitter and Facebook.
Marc has been responsible for the accounts and general administration at the company since 2012. He has 15 years experience as a qualified bookkeeper and has previously dealt with the finances of various businesses, including transport conference management and sani-bins. He finds Champagne a lot more fun to take home at the weekend!
Marc finds all areas of accounts tremendously exciting, but is particularly interested in bank reconciliation and VAT analysis.
Before joining the company he knew very little about wine, but he has grasped the opportunity to learn with great enthusiasm. Being here has allowed him to try a wide variety of wines from around the world, often without leaving his desk. Marc is very fond of Chablis, White Burgundys and the red wines from Northern Italy.
Over the past 20 years Philip has forged long term supplier relationships with many leading domaines in Burgundy, Bordeaux and Champagne in France and Piedmont, Tuscany and Mount Etna in Italy and supplies fine wines to private and trade clients in Europe, North America and Asia.
