This blog is about how I got to be working in an Ebola Treatment Unit in Liberia... So here's the quick bio: Born in May, 1950. Raised in a fairly dysfunctional family, lived in a small town in southern California. Oldest of the middle bunch of kids. I am married to a very wonderful and supportive man, Reed, who tolerates my habits that would drive most crazy. Together we have seven children - yours, mine and ours. He had 4 children, I had one, and we created two more. Blended families are not easy, ours being no exception. Reed's older children are all grown now. We see Marta and her family as time and circumstances permit. My daughter, Adie, was raised by Reed, and she views him as her Dad. He loved and raised her, without reservation.
