Amanda Van de Perre

Amanda completed her Legal Administrative Assistant Diploma and her internship at Mussio Goodman in 2012. She has been with our firm as a Legal Administrative Assistant since. Amanda moved to the Okanagan in the Summer of 2018, where she continues enjoying her role from the sunny valley of the Interior.

Amber Frigon

Amber completed the legal program in 2012. After finishing her internship at a firm that specialized in family law, she decided to pursue her interest in the personal injury field with Mussio Goodman. Amber has been working exclusively in personal injury litigation for the last 7 years and enjoys the challenges and rewards of assisting her clients' files.

Amber Jacobsen

Amber completed the Administrative Assistant program at Okanagan College in 2015. She began working in the legal industry in 2018 and went on to complete the OC Legal Assistant program in 2021 with a strong interest in litigation. She joined Mussio Goodman in the winter of 2021, and looks forward to expanding her legal experience within the firm. Amber still calls the Okanagan home, and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, the beach, concerts, camping and travelling.

Angela Cardoso

Angela began her working career at the Vancouver Law Courts in 1997 as a Deputy District Registrar in the Estate and Family Registry. In 2015 she went back to school to obtain her Paralegal Certificate at Capilano University. In 2019 she moved to the Public Guardian and Trustee's office as a Paralegal, before joining Mussio Goodman in 2022. In her spare time Angela enjoys reading, skiing, snow shoeing and going on vacation with her family.

Ashley Zarei

Ashley completed the Legal Administrative Assistant Program at Kwantlen University in 2018. Due to her passion for personal injury litigation, Ashley completed her practicum at Mussio Goodman and joined the Mussio Goodman team thereafter. Ashley went on to complete the Paralegal Program at Vancouver Community College in 2021, which led her to her current role as a Paralegal. In her free time, Ashley enjoys hiking and travelling.

Caleb Perry

Caleb was born and raised in Victoria where he received a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in economics at UVic. Completing courses in calculus, linear algebra, statistics, and game theory Caleb developed the logical mind crucial to understanding our clients' nuanced and complex problems. While completing his economics degree, Caleb volunteered with the John Howard Society before co-founding Horizons Tutoring Society to connect K-12 students to free volunteer tutors on campus. Caleb remained at UVic for his law degree. Although his law career began in the early months of the pandemic Caleb was able to gain the skills to adapt to our new world. Caleb joined Mussio Goodman in 2021 as a first-year summer student; he quickly developed a strong interest in wills and estates but also personal injury litigation. After work Caleb enjoys exploring Vancouver, hiking, cycling, learning to ski, and reading books by his favourite author, David Sedaris.

Carrie Corrall

Carrie completed the Legal Administrative Assistant program in 2010 from Vancouver Community College and has been working in the personal Injury field since then. She joined Mussio Goodman in 2018. Carrie is responsible for assisting in all aspects of a client's claim. In her free time, Carrie enjoys running, camping and spending time with her family and her two dogs.

Ellie Lui

Ellie majored in Criminology and Psychology from Simon Fraser University and continued her studies in the Legal Administrative Assistant and Paralegal programs. She has been working in mainly personal injury litigation for the last 5 years and has extensive experience in all aspects of file management from commencement through to mediation, trial or settlement. Outside her professional endeavors, Ellie enjoys reading, watching science-fiction movies, and driving her car at local racetracks.

Eric Goodman

Eric began his practice in 2007 as a civil litigator with Farris Vaughan Wills & Murphy LLP. After several years, Eric partnered with Wes Mussio to form the law firm Mussio Goodman. Since that time, Eric has specialized in personal injury and disability claims, with a proven track record of success in negotiations, mediations and, if a fair settlement could not be reached, the Supreme Court. As a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, Eric represents clients in a broad array of personal injury, disability and ICBC claims. His extensive courtroom experience includes conducting both judge and jury trials in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, as well as appearing in the BC Court of the Appeal. Eric is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Vancouver Bar Association, Spinal Cord Injury BC, the BC Brain Injury Association, and proudly serves as a Mentor as part of the CBA Mentorship Program. Eric recognizes that a truly successful result requires a genuine understanding of a client's particular needs. The result is an unwavering focus on advocacy and client service that sets our firm apart. Eric is particularly proud of his most recent success at trial, where the Court awarded his client $2.2 million dollars, more than five times what ICBC offered to settle. You can read more about Eric's recent trial decision here. It is also noteworthy that ICBC appealed this decision to the BC Court of Appeal in an attempt to reduce the award by almost $300,000. Eric fought the appeal and was ultimately successful in keeping his client's award intact.

Jasjit Parmar

Jasjit joined Mussio Goodman as an articling student in 2022 after completing his law degree at the Thompson Rivers University. Prior to law school, Jasjit earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. During his time in law school, Jasjit was a volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada, a student case worker with the TRU Community Legal Clinic and a graduate research assistant for a professor. One of the fulfilling highlights from his time in school stems from his research work, some of which has been used in publications by non-profit organizations and some that has been referenced in legislature in developing countries. Jasjit enjoys spending his free time weightlifting, learning calligraphy, listening to music, and weather permitting, riding his motorcycle.

Jesse Patrao

Jesse joined Mussio Goodman as an articling student in May 2022 after completing his law degree at the Thompson Rivers University. Prior to law school, Jesse earned a BA degree in English literature with a minor in philosophy from the University of British Columbia. During his time in law school, Jesse was nominated for Vice President of Academics on the TRU Society of Law Students Board. In 2020, he represented TRU Law and competed in the National Sports Law Negotiation Competition (NSLNC), performing in his school's first virtual moot. In 2022, Jesse was an editor on TRU's Canadian Journal of Comparative and Contemporary Law. When not working, Jesse loves playing and watching sports. He especially enjoys watching European soccer and the NFL. He also loves literature (Dante; Dostoevsky), movies (Godfather; Lord of the Rings), music (My Bloody Valentine; Lil Wayne) and "good" TV (Lost; Mad Men).

Kaylee was employed as a Medical Office Assistant for over ten years prior to becoming the medical scheduler in 2018. She has always had an interest in both law and medical which is what led to her current position at Mussio Goodman.

Mark Hamilton

Mark has been a trial lawyer since 2007. His practice is focused exclusively on helping individuals who have been injured by others. This includes advancing claims arising from traffic accidents, slip and falls, and assaults. Although Mark only acts for accident victims, his past legal experience includes working on behalf of ICBC and private insurers. This has given him the opportunity to understand the defence tactics of insurance companies and their lawyers. Mark appears before all levels of courts in British Columbia, has been called to the bar in BC and Alberta, and is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC. Mark was born and raised in Vancouver, studied history and political sciences at McGill University, and attended law school at the University of Alberta. In his spare time, Mark enjoys playing music, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.

Rachel Mannering

Rachel was born and raised in Ontario. In 2018, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Public Policy at the University of Guelph. Upon graduation, she moved across the country to pursue a law degree at the University of Victoria, where she graduated in 2021. While in Victoria, Rachel volunteered her time with Pro Bono Students Canada, Disability Alliance BC, and Community Living Access. She was also an active member of the Animal Justice Club. Following her graduation from law school, Rachel articled and worked at a law firm with a focus on ICBC defence work. In January 2023, she joined Mussio Goodman as an associate, with a focus on personal injury litigation. In her free time, Rachel enjoys boxing, skiing, and travelling.

Rupinder Shergill

Rupinder graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and started his law career in early 2019. He joined Mussio Goodman as a Paralegal in fall 2021. He has expanded his knowledge in the areas of law from Personal Injury to Civil Litigation. He continues to progress into the next stages of his career in law. In his spare time, he likes to go to the gym and explore new places.

Thomas O'Mahony

Tom is an experienced litigator, winning cases for his clients at every level of court in British Columbia. He practices in a variety of areas, successfully prosecuting claims for personal injury, wills variation, product liability, and property damage amongst others. In his estate and family practice, he understands the personal nature of familial conflict, and makes sure to protect his vulnerable clients' rights at law.

Wes Mussio - CEO

Since becoming a lawyer in 1991, Wes Mussio has worked almost exclusively in the area of ICBC injury claims and estate litigation claims. He also handles a variety of other personal injury claims, including slip and fall matters. Until 2002, Wes' practice primarily involved ICBC defence work with two of the largest insurance defence firms in the province. As a result, he gained extensive knowledge of ICBC's practices, much of which is now published in his book, What ICBC Does Not Want You to Know.
