Andrew Sherski

Head of Risk: Andrew Sherski is a Compliance and corporate finance professional with seventeen years' experience focusing on regulatory Compliance management and corporate finance advisory services. Initially at Cavendish Asset Management and later at Gateway he was responsible for the management of eTechnology VCT plc, a Venture Capital Trust with a focus on technology companies. Among other roles he was Senior Manager responsible for Compliance and risk management at Intrust Corporate Finance, a corporate finance advisory boutique. Andrew Sherski is a graduate of St Pauls School London and the University of Leeds, an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments and holds a CISI Certificate in Corporate Finance.

James Edwards

Senior Partner: James Edwards is an experienced portfolio manager, hedge fund and wealth management executive, and a business creator in the investment banking sector and beyond. At Capital Systematics he heads Wealth Management Services. He was CIO for a team running 5b of AUM at Barep Asset Management, CIO at Mizuho Investment Management and rose to Executive Director for Hedge Funds at UBS Wealth Management. Subsequently he was Managing Director at asset manager Halkin (previously Eurofin) and Head of Investor Relations at Horatius Capital. He subsequently led the successful buildout and financing of "offshoring as a service" company amplify5, was a partner at emerging markets merchant bank Gryphon, and founded Staithe Strategic to advise young companies on operational and organisational change to achieve commercial and financing success. He was educated at Fettes College, Edinburgh and holds a BA(Hons) in Economic and Political Development, Economics and Politics from the University of Exeter.

Jesse Schulman

Chief Executive Officer: Jesse Schulman is an experienced corporate finance executive and the founder of Capital Systematics. Trained as a neuroscientist, he was a biotechnology and pharmaceuticals analyst and later headed a corporate finance group at investment banking firm Friedman Billings Ramsey. He then became partner at biotech business development consultancy Capel Thompson & Homer and led transaction teams at life sciences boutique Ferghana Partners. He is also an award-winning former war correspondent. He holds a BA in Mathematics and a PhD in Neurosciences.
