Daniel Rengstorff

Dr. Rengstorff was born and raised in the Bay Area. He attended medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He later returned to the Bay Area to complete his fellowship in Gastroenterology at California Pacific Medical Center. During his fellowship Dr. Rengstorff was involved in studies evaluating the treatment of bleeding gastric varices and toxin induced hepatitis. Dr. Rengstorff is married and has one son. While not involved in patient care he enjoys golfing, skiing and wood working.

Dr. Cynthia Leung

Dr. Cynthia Leung was born and raised in the Bay Area. She completed both her medical school and internal medicine residency training at Stanford. After completing her Residency, she participated in the Master's Program for Clinical Epidemiology and received her MS degree in 2006. Dr. Leung then went on to complete her fellowship in Gastroenterology at Stanford University Medical Center. During her Gastroenterology fellowship, Dr. Leung was involved in research exploring colonoscopy techniques and GI imaging. As a result, she has prolific knowledge in cutting edge technologies. In her time at Stanford University, Dr. Leung received several awards including the Department of Internal Medicine Housestaff Award for Professionalism.

Hoan B. Nguyen

Hoan was born and raised in Vietnam until 2010 when she moved to Southern California. She attended University of California, Irvine and was a part of the National Honor Society of Pre-Health student, AED. She attended the University of Pittsburgh Physician Assistant Program in Pennsylvania where she worked with UPMC and Cleveland Clinic. She served as President of the Physician Assistant Student Promoting Diversity and Inclusion in her cohort. She helped found Pitt's Future Health Care Provider Outreach Program. She was also involved with the National Society of Black PAs and their national Student Diversity Initiative group. Outside of medicine, Hoan is also a serious foodie and coffee lover. She loves traveling to explore new food, sceneries and culture. She has a huge passion for art and cooking as well. Her favorite hobbies include tennis, rock climbing/bouldering, and hiking. She is also fluent in Vietnamese.

Vicky Yang

Dr. Yang is a native of Taiwan and moved to California after high school. She attended college in Los Angeles and graduated medical school from Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Yang moved to the Bay Area for her post-graduate medical training and completed her internal medicine residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Dr. Yang had the honor of serving an extra year as the Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Following this she completed a 3-year fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Stanford University and joined Peninsula Gastroenterology Medical Group in July 2000. Dr. Yang continues to be involved by volunteering occasionally at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Dr. Yang's husband is an engineer and they have two sons. Dr. Yang is also fluent in both Mandarin and Taiwanese.
