I was born and educated in York. After a brief spell in printing I decided to pursue a career in financial services. After working my way up to branch manager with an investment broker I was approached by Hambro Life which I joined in 1980. After two or three name changes the company became Openwork and I ran my own practice within the company for over 30 years, until 2012 when I joined Joanne Gott Associates. I now specialise in giving advice on protection and general insurance.

I live in York and was educated at St Peter's School, joining Joanne Gott Associates in 2000. I have been involved in the financial services industry since 1983 after changing career from the hospitality sector.
I have built up strong client relationships over the years and now advise many second and third generations of families on their finances.
Outside of work, I am a governor with the English-Speaking Union, an international charity. I am also interested in art and travel to countries off the beaten track.

Originally from Surrey, I moved to Yorkshire in the mid 1990's and live with my wife and two daughters in Pocklington. At that time, I qualified as a financial adviser having previously been employed in the banking sector, and opted to specialise in mortgages and protection advice. Giving the best customer service I can is of key importance to me.
Outside work, I am a keen observer of sports, and am a West Ham supporter. I also enjoy gardening and painting.
