NRBBT

The Northern Regional Brass Band Trust (NRBBT) was founded in 1974 to enhance the standards and standing of brass musicians in the Northumberland, Cumbria, County Durham and Tees Valley areas... The Trust was one of the founding agencies of Durham Brass Initiative, which organised the first Durham Brass Festival in 2001. We viewed this as a way of creating constructive partnerships with other music agencies, to help recruit and retain young players and to develop new audiences for brass music. We continue to support the festival and other regional initiatives.
