Sundog Aviation Group offers over 90 years of leadership experience to help guide you to make informed decision, and capable of engaging at higher levels as appropriate... The name was drawn from the fascination with the "sundogs" that often would appear on opposing horizons from the setting sun. The scientific name for this phenomenon is "Parhelion". The founding father Jim Cannon chose Sundog Aviation as the name for the business when it was formed in January 2014. Jim Bennett and Bill McBride worked with Jim Cannon for several years before acquiring the business in January of 2022, renaming it Sundog Aviation group to reflect their combined offerings.
