DAVE DAVIS

Dave was a family physician in Ontario, Canada, for nearly 40 years, from 1970-2008, in private, group and academic practice settings. For much of that time, he was active in the development of continuing education programs for practicing colleagues: at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, Ontario; at Hamilton's McMaster University's Dave is the proud father of two and grandfather to two active and amazing boys. He and Maureen have been married for over 50 years. How'd that happen? Dave divides his time between Dundas, Ontario, and (when Covid lets him) Fort Myers Beach Florida.

Olivier Jacob

Olivier Jacob has a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Business Management from Laval University in Quebec, Canada. He began his career as an Account Manager in the Pharmaceutical Industry to pursue a managerial role in retail. His ability to lead various projects, teams and people brought him to develop his strategic perspective of management, which brought him to be part of a multidisciplinary team who's led the development and implementation of a new concept for a multinational company. As the Director of Project Management and certified PMP, he follows the methodologies, standards and procedures of the Project Management Institute (PMI). Olivier is recognize for his leadership and skill, as well as for his ability to provide optimal contingency solutions in order to maintain a high level of performance for all project team members and ensure project success.

PATRICE LAZURE

After graduating from The Université de Montréal with a baccalaureate in biological sciences, Patrice Lazure completed a master's degree in biomedical sciences, with a sub-specialty in rehabilitation sciences. Since then, he has worked in research for more than 15 years, starting as a research assistant, moving on to research coordination, then lead researcher and finally as Director of Research at AXDEV Group Inc. In his current position, he oversees the activities of the Performance Improvement Division and ensures the same scientific rigor is applied to every AXDEV project, while contributing to the constant evolution of AXDEV's research methodologies. Before joining AXDEV Group Inc., Patrice already had an extensive background in clinically applied healthcare research, having collaborated on a large variety of projects, including the evaluation and rehabilitation of driving abilities of disabled populations, the development of a community of practice for stroke clinicians, the development and applicability of a tool to facilitate patient transfer between healthcare centers and the evaluation of a best practices implementation program with rehabilitation professionals providing care to individuals after stroke. Since he began working at AXDEV Group Inc., his area of interest has focused on the evidence-based identification of the issues that undermine the performance of individuals, teams and organizations as well as the evaluation of applied solutions that target those challenges. Patrice has authored numerous publications in peer-review journals and presentations at national and international conferences.

SOPHIE PÉLOQUIN - VP

Sophie Péloquin earned a Bachelor of Sciences in Nutritional Sciences with a minor degree in international development (McGill University, Montreal, Canada) as well as a Master of Medical Sciences in Public Health (Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden). She completed additional professional development courses in the areas of strategic planning and communication, entrepreneurship and health assessment methodologies. Sophie Péloquin has 15 years of experience as a consultant in the healthcare sector. Over the years, her clients have included government bodies (Ministries of Health, public health institutions), professional organizations and medical specialty societies, universities, non-profit organizations as well as corporations in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Her role with these organizations included strategic planning, development of communication campaigns and design, development and management of programs and interventions aiming at behavioral change. Evolving from Senior Researcher to Director and now as Vice-President at AXDEV Group Inc., Sophie has been recognized for her ability to lead project teams in the development and deployment of rigorous assessment and impactful, customized performance improvement interventions. She is involved in providing innovative solutions to clients from various industries and facilitates and supports organizations in improving professional development & fulfillment, team dynamics & efficiencies and organizational functioning, while always incorporating human factors. She is a member and former board member of the Quebec Public Health Association and an active member of the Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education (SACME), the Global Alliance for Medical Education (GAME) and the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions.

Suzanne Murray - Founder

Suzanne Murray's professional career spans over 30 years in organizational development, management, healthcare research, education and performance improvement. As the CEO and Founder of AXDEV Group Inc. since 1997, Suzanne has supported organizations, companies and governments in Canada, United States, Europe and Asia. Prior to AXDEV, she spent 18 years at McGill University's Faculty of Medicine, Centre for Studies in Aging, and the Montreal General Hospital. Her academic achievement in management and administration are from Concordia University. Suzanne's leadership and innovative approach have guided decision-makers in major organizations and various industries to assess strategies and operational needs for professionals as well as organizational performance excellence. She has presented at more than 100 international peer-reviewed conferences and published in more than 30 peer-reviewed journals specializing in human and organizational performance and education. Suzanne is a professional guide for women and men in senior leadership positions dealing with behavioral and performance challenges in international specialty societies, ministries of health, the healthcare industry and fortune 500 companies. Suzanne and AXDEV have received numerous business awards: Alliance for Continuing Medical Education award with the University of Wisconsin, American College of Cardiology & Mayo Clinic; Alliance for Continuing Medical Education award in collaboration with the University of North Texas Health Science Center; Mercuriades award for Best Service Business in Quebec from the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, the Business Women of the Year, for her international contribution, from the Réseau des Femmes d'affaires du Québec (the Quebec business women's network) as well as other awards. She has served as a board member and expert consultant for: Global Alliance for Medical Education (GAME); board member, Canadian Association of Continuing Health Education (CACHE); the International Strategies and Professional Development Committees, Alliance for CME (United States). Suzanne was appointed by the Minister of Education, Government of Quebec as a board member of a Quebec-based College (CEGEP Édouard-Montpetit) and was the Chair of the Economic Committee for the International CME Congress in 2008 and 2012. Suzanne is often referred to as the "Professional & Credible Provocateure", a leader provoking change, evolution and improvement.
