We are a day away from beginning our second tour of the summer. Our first tour, and our first unsupported adventure, was a trip from our home to Pelee Island and back. We did that trip as a warm up for the longer trip around Lake Ontario that was planned for later in the summer. The Pelee Island trip proved that a longer trip was well within our abilities, in fact we learned that just doing the Lake would likely be to short, so we have added a side trip to the Erie Canal.
