S They opened up their own space in a small strip mall in Chatsworth called Prasad, mainly for caterings and our customers kept coming in for food on the go. In the mid 9? S The growth of demand for freshly prepared meals took them to a full restaurant in Canoga Park. This is where the name Mother India Restaurant first took hold. Mother India Restaurant then moved back to Chatsworth as a fine dining establishment before both Bharati and Shanta decided to retire.
