Alex Moseley

Alex joined the team as Senior Planner in December 2015 and was promoted to Principal Planner in September 2021, assisting Julian with the general running of the department. He holds a Bachelors and Masters in Town Planning both obtained from the University of Westminster. Alex has practiced in Central London and Surrey over the past 15 years and is well versed on advising and representing clients that seek advice on urban and rural forms of development, providing guidance on strategic planning matters in addition to enforcement issues. Alex has also represented a number of local planning authorities whilst working in the private sector.

Andrew Farrant - Senior Partner, has over 35 years' experience in the local area. Having trained primarily in the corporate environment before joining White & Sons in 1993, Andrew has a particular expertise in Land and New Homes along with a wealth of experience in general Residential Sales. Andrew is responsible for the management and direction of the firm and is a member of The National Association of Estate Agents. In addition, Andrew sat on the Board of Trustees for Air Ambulance, Kent Surrey Sussex, who are White & Sons chosen charity.

Andrew has built up a wealth of experience in the property market since starting his career 17 years ago. With 13 years of service with White & Sons he has successfully lead teams in 3 of our offices to date. Dorking, where Andrew has lived for most of his life with his family, is his passion and what he knows best. Having had children at both primary and secondary schools locally he has great connections and a deep personal knowledge of the area, something he believes helps him to identify, understand and deliver what prospective clients and buyers are looking for in their estate agent. A qualified NAEA member with expertise in all types of transactions, delivering a great customer experience is always at the forefront of everything Andrew does.

Angus Farquhar

Angus attended the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester and Wye College (London University) at Wye in Kent and was formerly a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and is a retired Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV). He joined the then firm of Finn Kelcey & Ashenden in 1973, who were livestock auctioneers in Canterbury, Ashford & Rye markets. In 1977, he moved to Henry Smith in Horsham and in 1995 became Senior Partner where the type of work included valuations, pipelines, compensation claims, agricultural stock takings, town planning applications for farmers and rural businesses. In 2007, he became an independent consultant mainly undertaking advice on Option agreements for New Homes and rural planning work as well as valuations for inheritance tax and succession planning on farms. He has undertaken a number of assignments in the past 10 years resulting in excess of 550 planning consents in Surrey and Sussex.

Chloe joined White & Sons in 2020, having started her career in the property sector in 2013. During her career, Chloe has had experience within residential sales and lettings as an administrator, and residential property management. The extensive knowledge and skills that Chloe has bought with her play an extremely important part in the daily operation and compliance of our department. Chloe's ability to handle complex or time sensitive matters, train new members of staff and implement her managerial skills in general come as second nature. Her competence also helps build and maintain an excellent rapport with our clients, which is essential for client retention. In May 2023, Chloe was promoted to Manager of Block Management Coordination for our Residential Block & Estate Management department.

Claire Adcroft

Claire Adcroft holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography from Royal Holloway, University of London and a MSc in Rural Estate Management from The Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester. Claire qualified as a Chartered Rural Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer in October 2019. She is originally from East Anglia and began her professional career working for a small independent firm before moving to Sussex in 2020 to work for a regional firm, specialising in Land and Farm valuations, Landlord and Tenant Matters and Farm Agency. Claire joined White & Sons in November 2021 as a Rural Chartered Surveyor, assisting Stuart Walker in our Agricultural team. Claire is based out of our Dorking office.

Following the successful completion of her NAEA exams, Freya was promoted to Senior Negotiator. Along with useful experience gained in The Army, Freya is a motivated and enthusiastic member of the team and is always willing to help where needed. Raised in Westerham, Freya has a great knowledge of the local area including the best places for long dogs walks and Sunday roasts. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and keeping active at the gym.

Harriet Evans

Jack Meyer

Jack Meyer is a Chartered Rural Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer as well as a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Geology from Cardiff University and an MSc in Rural Land and Business Management from the University of Reading. Jack has worked at White and Sons since 2018, where he assists Partner, Stuart Walker, with Rural and Agricultural consultancy work. He was a Rural Surveyor for the National Trust in Surrey and Sussex before joining the team here. Educated and raised locally in Reigate, he has an extensive knowledge of the surrounding area. Jack is based out of our Oxted Office.
