Data Cars is one of the largest Private Hire Minicab companies in the UK. With a fleet of over 300 vehicles we provide a fast, efficient and reliable service. Our Call Centre currently handles over 1 million calls per year... Purchased in 1990 by Les Chapman with a loan from his father, Station Group Car Hire based at Mottingham Station was built up from just 14 cars to 46 cars within 7 years. In 1997 a merge between Station Group Car Hire and Direct Cars took place but unfortunately this partnership didn't work and the company was made insolvent. Fortunately, Les Chapman stepped in to form Data Cars Limited in 1999 and has continued to expand the company year by year to its current size after the purchase of Handicars in 2011. Handicars was the oldest private hire company in London and the first private hire company in London to be licensed and holds Licence No 1.
